Looking at the man beside her who was smiling at her with a bright and clear expression, Lily Turner wished she could kick him out of the car. She was both angry and embarrassed at the mont.
Not only had she not gained any advantage from the man, but she had also been forcibly kissed by him for such a long ti. The most infuriating part was that she had even responded to his kiss.
"Alright! Don’t be angry anymore. We should go get our luggage now." Easton Hols pinched Lily Turner’s pouting lips; because of his recent attentiveness, her lips looked inviting and alluring.
Unable to resist, he leaned over and kissed her, "If you keep being mad, I’ll continue."
"You’re insufferable!"
Lily Turner pushed away the man who was leaning toward her. If he were to continue, her lips would surely end up bruised from his kisses.
Easton Hols didn’t tease the sowhat embarrassed and angry Lily Turner any further. Giving her a deep look, he sat properly in the driver’s seat and drove away from the hospital.
"Since it’s now confird that I’m not pregnant, there’s no need for you to get my luggage. I won’t be going back with you."
Lily Turner had already made this decision and plan while she was at ho. She confessed to Easton Hols and then intended to leave his house to return to her own little nest.
If Easton Hols didn’t have a strong psychological disposition, he would have driven the car into the opposite lane by now. He took a deep breath to calm his emotions and glanced at the woman in the passenger seat.
"Right now you are my legal wife, and you must live with ." Legal, must—he deliberately emphasized these words just to make sure she heard them clearly and understood.
"We can get a divorce then, and by that ti I won’t..."
Screech!
After a harsh braking sound, the car ca to an ergency stop by the roadside.
Easton Hols steadied the car, then swiftly turned toward Lily Turner. His face was filled with excitent and anger, "What do you take marriage for? What do you take for?"
"I..."
"Let tell you, destroying a military marriage can lead to a military court."
Lily Turner had only managed to say a single word before Easton Hols rudely interrupted her. His deep eyes stared at her unwaveringly, as if he were going to devour her.
Though she had many words of rebuttal in her mind, seeing the man’s predatory look made Lily Turner give up imdiately. She reached out to tug at his sleeve, cautiously saying, "Could you not be so angry? I’m just trying to discuss this with you."
She wasn’t trying to destroy a military marriage; she just wanted to divorce him. Can’t soldiers get a divorce?
"There’s no room for discussion on this matter!"
With one sentence, Easton Hols extinguished all of Lily Turner’s hopes, leaving her no opportunity to dispute or question him.
He looked at her, sat properly, started the engine, and drove back onto the road.
Lily Turner didn’t say another word. Easton Hols was currently in a fury, so she decided it was best not to provoke him further. His angry deanor was truly terrifying.
Could he be so angry because he liked her? How is that possible?
Although they were husband and wife, they had only just t. Their eting didn’t seem like a love-at-first-sight scenario.
Could he have had designs on her from the beginning? That didn’t seem right either; that night he had told Luke Crowe to throw her out of the car.
What on earth is happening?
Soone please give her a clear and definite answer.
Lily Turner’s eyes were fixed on the man driving, and she shouted loudly in her heart.
