When they returned to the apartnt, Lily Turner really wanted to stay in her little nook and not leave, but thinking about how Easton Hols would get really angry and forcefully take her away, she imdiately backed down.
This admission of defeat was truly unwilling, but what else could she do? Those who are tall and strong have the upper hand.
After packing her luggage, she left her apartnt with him.
Due to the previous incident, Lily Turner harbored resentnt towards Easton Hols, and from the mont they left her apartnt, she hadn’t spoken to him.
Even when he tried to talk to her, she didn’t respond; she wanted him to know that she also had a temper.
"If my attitude towards you earlier was bad, I apologize." Seeing that Lily Turner kept ignoring him, Easton Hols realized his earlier behavior was sowhat over the top. Now, he had cald down, not as agitated and angry as before.
He apologized to her?! He actually apologized to her for what happened earlier.
Easton Hols’s proactive apology surprised Lily Turner a lot. She really hadn’t expected him to apologize.
However, thinking about how he had lost his temper with her before, her surprise and astonishnt instantly disappeared. She gave him a glance and silently turned to look out the car window.
Seeing the woman still ignoring him, Easton Hols suddenly realized that he had truly upset her.
"Could you please not be angry anymore?" He reached out and pulled her, who was sitting with her back to him, to his side, forcibly turning her body to make her face him.
"Can’t I even have the freedom to be angry?"
Hmph! Not letting her be angry, she wanted to be angry even more, just to see what he could do to her.
In her heart, Lily Turner snorted coldly at Easton Hols. At this mont, she was like a rebellious teenager, filled with resentnt and confronting a parent.
Unaware, Easton Hols thought Lily was really angry, so he didn’t provoke her further with words. He let out a barely audible sigh and withdrew his hand from her shoulder.
After a deep look at her, he started the car and drove away from her apartnt complex.
After a long, long ti, Lily Turner gradually erged from her earlier state. She glanced at the man driving, then turned her back to him and leaned against the seat, daydreaming at the window.
The two of them seed to have a mutual understanding, neither taking the initiative to speak to the other. One stared out the window in a daze, the other focused on driving, maintaining this state until the car finally stopped.
"Lily! Get out and co with to the supermarket to buy sothing." Seeing Lily Turner still leaning motionless against the seat, Easton Hols reached over and gently pushed her.
Suddenly being nudged, Lily Turner snapped out of her thoughts. It was only then that she realized the car had stopped.
She straightened up and looked out the window, discovering they were parked at a supermarket parking space.
"I don’t feel like going to the supermarket now. You go ahead, I’ll wait in the car." With all those people in the supermarket, she didn’t want to be recognized, especially since she was still sulking with him.
Before Easton Hols could speak, Lily Turner quickly added, "Don’t worry, I won’t take the opportunity to sneak away."
She said this a bit defiantly, and after saying it, she raised her right hand to him, but didn’t swear an oath.
"Sigh!"
Letting out a deep sigh, Easton Hols made sure she heard it.
"I’m going."
With that, he opened the car door and got out.
