Once inside the changing room, Lily Turner imdiately found Helena to retrieve her bag. Without a mont’s pause, she quickly took out her phone from her bag.
"You probably haven’t co over yet, right? A friend just invited to dinner, I’ll take a taxi ho later."
That afternoon, when Lily Turner went out, Easton Hols had said over the phone that he would co to pick her up. She refused, but his attitude was very insistent, and she reluctantly surrendered.
There were other models in the changing room, so it wasn’t convenient for her to call him. She had no choice but to edit a text ssage and send it to him.
Shortly after she sent the ssage, Easton Hols called. Lily glanced at the others, then left the changing room with her phone.
"Hello!" She stepped out of the changing room and found a quiet corner to answer the call.
"I’m already at the entrance of the building, co down," Easton Hols said, having already waited for a while when he received Lily Turner’s text.
Hearing this, Lily felt a mont of difficulty, "You’re already here?"
Now she was in a dilemma about whom to leave with.
"Yeah," Easton responded softly, an acknowledgnt to the person on the other end of the line.
"I didn’t expect you to get here so soon. I just agreed to have dinner with a friend." Lily truthfully explained her situation, hoping the man on the other end would agree to let her go with her friend.
Over the phone, Easton Hols detected the underlying ssage in Lily Turner’s words. His brow furrowed slightly; she was actually prioritizing a friend over him.
"Invite your friend along, I’ll treat!" Just how important was this friend? He wanted to find out.
"Is that appropriate? No one knows about our relationship yet." Lily instinctively refused, though her refusal lacked confidence.
Upon hearing this, Easton Hols’s brow imdiately knitted, and his expression turned displeased, "What’s inappropriate about it? If you introduce to your friends a few tis in the future, they’ll know."
"Am I so embarrassing to bring out?"
Lily’s earlier words had ignited an unexplainable anger in Easton Hols.
Across the phone, Lily sensed Easton Hols’s temper and scratched her forehead in frustration, "Don’t say such nonsense, alright? If even you’re not presentable, then who is?"
Not only did he have impeccable looks and build, but his family background and personal abilities were also top-notch.
A man like him would surely be a credit to herself when out in public, and no doubt would incite envy and admiration.
"Since I’m presentable, hurry up and bring your friend down; I’ll be waiting for you both downstairs." After Easton Hols finished speaking, he didn’t care whether Lily Turner would agree or how she would react, and swiftly hung up the phone.
Beep!
The beep in her ear signaled the end of the call, and Lily Turner realized Easton Hols had hung up. How could he do this? She hadn’t even agreed yet!
What should she do now? What to do? What to do?
In her frustration, Lily Turner scratched her hair. While she was feeling vexed, Grant Heath from the n’s changing room had finished changing his clothes and ca out with a smile, holding his belongings.
After leaving the n’s changing room, Grant Heath headed directly toward the won’s changing room. As he turned a corner, he saw Lily Turner standing there with a worried expression, still holding her phone.
