Lily Turner’s words made a lot of sense, and although Alia Linton felt a strong dislike towards Lily, she had to seriously think about what she should do in the future.
Alia didn’t let herself think for long. Soon, she had an idea and inford Lily Turner over the phone, "I won’t make a fuss, but you must agree to take birth control pills."
She had actually been tasked with such an offensive job, and if there were any mistakes, she would bear the responsibility.
Alia didn’t expect Lily to agree so readily, but she didn’t think much of it, nor did she dwell excessively on the matter.
Hearing the sound of the door closing, Lily instinctively glanced towards the entrance. Through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, she saw Sister Gui hurrying towards the courtyard gate.
Since Sister Gui had intentionally avoided her earlier, Lily wasn’t sure what had been discussed between Sister Gui and Alia. Seeing Sister Gui leave so hastily, she suspected she might be going to et Alia.
With a frustrated sigh, she recalled Alia’s instructions and dared not continue brooding at ho. She went back inside to grab so money before heading out the door.
She wasn’t sure if his mother would co later, but she knew today she certainly wouldn’t co, so she could sleep peacefully all afternoon.
She should have anticipated this, his mother was no ordinary woman.
Whom had she offended? Why was such an important and tricky matter given to her? And without giving her a chance to refuse.
She didn’t want a grandson with uncertain identity. Her grandson had to be of pure identity and bloodline.
It wasn’t until Sister Gui’s figure disappeared from sight that Lily slowly withdrew her gaze. Picking up her bag, she left the living room and headed upstairs to her room to sleep.
"Let’s do as you say."

Upon hearing this, Lily didn’t say a word and directly handed the phone, which had been by her ear, back to Sister Gui.
Speaking into the phone while walking towards the living room exit.
"Hello! Madam!"
Having given her orders unceremoniously, Alia Linton decisively hung up the phone.
Lily knew it would be pointless to refuse, the events of the morning had already shown her Alia Linton’s resolve.
Although Lily had agreed readily, Alia still felt she couldn’t be careless. This matter related to the descendants of the Hols Residence, and she was determined to keep a tight hold on it.
Sister Gui had been standing beside all along, and she had heard the entire conversation between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law clearly. She reached out to take her phone.
"Give the phone to Sister Gui."
Where was that woman rushing off to? Could she be going to et his mother?
In such a situation, she didn’t want a child either. The child wouldn’t be happy.
Alia’s distrust was obvious, even over the phone, Lily could sense it clearly. She was a bit angry, but she didn’t voice any objections, "Suit yourself!"
"Later, go to the pharmacy and buy so birth control pills. From now on, you supervise her taking them. If she gets pregnant, I’ll hold you responsible."
The sound of the disconnected line echoed, and only then did Sister Gui realize Alia had hung up. She stood there in a daze for a long ti, finally coming to her senses.
"From now on, I’ll have Sister Gui supervise you taking the pills."
Du du du!
She had expected to sleep a bit more in the morning, but hadn’t anticipated his mother’s sudden aggressive visit, leaving her unable to cope.
