Bang bang bang!
Lily Turner was groggily awakened by a series of knocks on the door. Instinctively, she turned her head to look at the bedroom door, "Who is it?"
Hearing this, Lily sobered up instantly and rolled her eyes at the stark white ceiling as she sat up in bed.
Lily gave a cold smile: "You don’t need to bring your Madam up to scare . I’m not taking the dicine because I’m afraid of your Madam, but because I’m willing to cooperate with her in this matter."
Although she knew this woman was there to monitor her, she hadn’t felt so wary of her before, but the woman’s actions made her have to be on guard.
Having just woken up, her voice sounded a bit hoarse.
With that, she reached her hand out toward the woman standing at the door.
Alia worried that Lily might make things difficult and refuse to take the dicine. She nonchalantly brought up Alia Linton.
Due to the incident from last night to this morning, she had developed a strong suspicion towards this woman.
"These are four different kinds of dicine. The pharmacy staff said there are long-acting, short-acting, quick-acting, and ergency ones. The specific way to take them and which precisely applies can be found in the instructions within each box." The pharmacy staff explained far more thoroughly than this, but Alia was too embarrassed to say, so she let Lily read the specific instructions herself, trusting that Lily could understand.
Lily carefully examined the dicines in the plastic bag; there were no less than four kinds of dicine.
"Madam instructed to do it, so I must."
According to Alia’s account, the pharmacy staff provided her with four different types, each with a distinct effect. Afraid she wouldn’t understand, they carefully explained everything to her.
She only said what needed to be said and didn’t utter a word more than necessary.
"Young Madam! I didn’t an to scare you." Though Alia did intend to, she wouldn’t dare admit it unless she was willing to lose her job.
"I’ve brought the dicine back."
Lily got out of bed, walked over to open the door, and didn’t plan to let Alia in. She held the door and blocked the doorway, "You are truly dedicated; this deserves a reward, it would be unjust without one."
Alia had returned from the pharmacy without delay and sought out Lily imdiately upon entering. Not seeing Lily downstairs, she ran directly upstairs.
Though Alia had experience, it was her first ti buying contraceptive pills today. Within a few short hours, she visited the pharmacy twice, leaving the pharmacy staff quite curious and puzzled.
Hanging up the call and rushing out to buy dicine imdiately afterward, how much does her mother pay this woman to make her so proactive and diligent?
"Wait a mont!"
Out of responsibility towards her, the pharmacy staff pried a little into her situation, and after a lot of hemming and hawing, she briefly explained it.
"You bought so many kinds of dicine? Doesn’t it cost money?"
"Young Madam! It’s !"
With the morning’s lesson in mind, she had locked the door from inside upon returning to the room earlier.
Lily didn’t continue the topic with Alia. She bent down to take the plastic bag Alia was holding, lifting it to her eyes for a closer look. There were several boxes of dicine inside—it was clear there wasn’t just one kind.
Alia Linton’s voice drifted in from outside the door, and Lily’s brows knitted tightly, "What’s wrong?"
Listening to Alia’s lengthy explanation, Lily, unfamiliar with these things, felt a bit dazed. Fortunately, there were instructions in the boxes; she just needed to follow them.
