Following Easton Hols' gaze, Lily Turner made a startling discovery. Her clothes were all intact except for her coat, and not only was she dressed properly, but the man beside her was also fully clothed.
The two of them were dressed neatly, without any sign of disorder.
Could it be that she had wronged him?
At this mont, Lily gradually regained her senses. Apart from a slight headache, she didn't feel any other discomfort. With this realization, she suddenly felt a bit embarrassed, but outwardly, she maintained her composure.
"You can say whatever you want now, anyway, I was drunk last night and don't rember anything." To avoid unnecessary awkwardness, Lily spoke as she climbed out of bed. Just as she finished speaking, she was already off the bed, not waiting for the man to respond, and she walked briskly toward the bathroom.
Easton Hols' deep, lake-like eyes remained fixed on the figure heading toward the bathroom, until she faded from his line of sight, and he didn't withdraw his gaze for a long ti.
Even with her back to the man on the bed, Lily could feel his gaze on her. Once inside the bathroom, the first thing she did was close the door.
After ensuring the bathroom door was securely locked, Lily let out a long sigh, and walked slowly to the sink. When she saw her reflection in the mirror, she nearly passed out from fright.
Her long, curly hair was a tangled ss, resembling a bird's nest; her smudged black eyeshadow gave her panda-like dark circles; and the pink lip gloss made her look like she had bits of food stuck to her lips.
If she went out looking like this, she might scare everyone to death!
Considering her appearance, she was amazed at how calmly the man had reacted; she now sowhat admired his composure.
Lily sighed at her reflection in the mirror, turned on the faucet, and rinsed her face with water. In her haste to leave yesterday, she only brought her phone and not her usual handbag, let alone the makeup kit inside it.
Without makeup remover, she had to use soap to wash off the smudged makeup. After a careful washing, her face, which had looked like a raccoon's, finally returned to its original freshness.
After thoroughly cleaning her face, Lily used her hands to tidy her ssy hair, and once she had restored order to her disheveled appearance, she opened the door and stepped out of the bathroom.
Upon exiting the bathroom, she found that the man who was just lying on the bed had vanished. The bed, previously disheveled, was now neatly made, and her coat was laid out smoothly on top of the duvet, with a well-known brand of phone placed neatly beside the clothes.
What on earth is going on?
Looking at the tidiness before her, Lily felt nothing but surprise and confusion.
Just then, her phone suddenly rang. Putting aside her bewildernt and surprise, she quickly walked over to answer the call.
"Sis! Why are you calling at this ti? What's up?"
The caller was Alice Turner. Lily composed herself emotionally to seriously handle the conversation with her sister on the other end. Since her sister was calling at this ti, she suspected that her unreliable brother-in-law might have spilled the beans.
"At this ti? What ti?" Alice was baffled, even more astonished in her heart.
