Lily Turner realized once again what it ant to speak recklessly, but this ti she felt utterly indignant and wronged. She pulled away the hand grasping her chin, "With you acting like this, will I still dare to speak? Will we be able to have a normal conversation?"
Every ti she spoke, his mind would wander elsewhere. Could she still speak freely? Was she still brave enough to speak freely?
"Am I really that scary?"
Easton Hols raised his hand and pointed at himself, his unblinking eyes fixed on Lily Turner. His steely face was full of doubt and incredulity.
Lily reached out and poked the stern face before her, "Why don’t you take a look in the mirror and find out yourself?"
Right after she spoke, taking advantage of his montary daze, she straightened up and slipped out of his embrace, quickly jumping off the bed to one side.
"Don’t be mad. I didn’t an to poke your face just now." Seeing him staring silently at her, Lily thought he was upset with her actions and quickly tried to explain.
She feared him getting angry, not because his anger was terrifying, but because he always used his strength to overpower her, which she truly could not withstand.
Angry?!
Did he look like he was genuinely angry at this mont?
Easton frowned in disagreent, lightly parted his lips, "You didn’t an it? I think you did it on purpose. Are you itching for trouble again?"
As he spoke, he stood up and walked toward her.
Seeing this, Lily turned around, trying to dodge to the side, but she was one step too late.
Easton took a big step, stretched out his long arm, and grabbed hold of her as she was about to dodge.
"Easton! You can’t keep doing this. It’s so unfair to ." Through their many ’struggles,’ she had gathered valuable experience and knew what he intended. As he grabbed her, she already used her other hand to block her mouth.
"Then tell , what would be fair to you?"
Easton didn’t forcefully remove Lily’s hand blocking her mouth but instead looked down at her, the corners of his mouth slightly upturned in a playful manner.
What would be fair?
This was sothing she truly hadn’t thought about.
Lily looked up at the man in front of her, her charming face full of conflict. "I haven’t thought of it yet, but it’s definitely not the way you’re acting now."
Constantly being pulled around by him, she was quite tall herself, but still, she was a woman with less strength than him.
Lily lowered her gaze to the hand gripping her arm, then looked up at Easton with obvious intent, hoping he would let her go.
"Do you think this is fair?"
Easton didn’t follow Lily’s inner wish to let go. With a flick of the wrist, he pulled her into his embrace.
This guy! He was clearly doing it to provoke her on purpose.
Lily widened her eyes, glaring at the deliberately provocative Easton, "Easton! Do you find bullying a defenseless woman amusing?"
She regretted not learning Taekwondo with her sister back then. If she had, she wouldn’t be so passive now.
"Amusing!"
Easton wrapped one arm around Lily’s waist, while the other hand moved her hand away from her mouth.
"You uhm..."
Lily hadn’t even finished her sentence before Easton suddenly leaned down and kissed her, swallowing all her unsaid words.
