After finishing the call with Ryan Taylor, Easton Hols put away his phone and left the room, heading straight for the master bedroom. However, in the master bedroom, he didn’t see that tall figure.
Has she run downstairs again!
Not seeing Lily Turner in the room, Easton thought she must have hidden downstairs, so he turned around and left the bedroom, striding quickly down the stairs.
But to his surprise, he still didn’t see her figure downstairs. She was nowhere to be found upstairs or downstairs, and his heart tightened all of a sudden.
Easton quickly took out the phone he had just put in his pocket and, without a mont’s pause, imdiately dialed Lily Turner’s number.
The phone rang for a long ti, but there was no response from the other side, and even when the call disconnected automatically, there was no response.
He didn’t give up, hurriedly dialing her number again.
This ti, as soon as the phone rang once, there was a response from the other side.
"Why are you like a ghost haunting ? Can’t I have so peace while using the bathroom?" When Easton called, Lily was squatting in the bathroom. Thinking of what had just happened, she was worried he might disturb her, so she resisted the urge to answer his call.
But who would have thought he called again? She was worried that if she didn’t answer, he would keep calling, so to be able to use the bathroom comfortably, she answered his call.
Hearing Lily say she was in the bathroom, Easton’s heart, which had just been clenched, relaxed at once. Being called a haunting ghost didn’t upset him. Instead, he laughed, "Alright, alright! I won’t disturb you anymore, take your ti."
"Which bathroom are you in?"
As he was about to hang up, he suddenly asked this question.
"What are you up to?"
Lily instantly beca alert, turning her head to look at the bathroom door. Seeing that the door was still locked securely, her anxious heart eased a little.
Even though he couldn’t see the woman on the other end of the phone, Easton could easily imagine what she looked like at that mont and with an amused tone said, "Am I a terrorist? Why are you so nervous?"
If he wasn’t worried that suddenly appearing would affect her using the bathroom, he would definitely go find her right now to have a good talk about this.
"Why would I be nervous? Don’t talk nonsense, okay?" Lily withdrew her gaze from the bathroom door and, before Easton could say anything, she continued, "I’m not talking to you anymore, hanging up now."
After saying this, she imdiately hung up the phone.
During the call with Easton, Lily’s progress in using the bathroom was seriously affected. After hanging up, she didn’t dare to slack off at all.
She put away her phone, multitasking as she diligently observed the movent at the door while forcefully taking care of her urgent need.
For a long ti, the thing she worried about didn’t happen, and Lily’s hanging heart eased a little. With her mind at ease, she finished her business much more smoothly.
After finishing, Lily left the bathroom, and to her surprise, Easton wasn’t around.
Where did that guy go? How could he refrain from looking for trouble with her?
Lily didn’t dwell on it too much and walked briskly towards the bedroom door. Just as she reached the door, a large hand suddenly reached out.
"Ah!"
Completely unprepared, she was so frightened that she scread.
Before Lily could recover from the shock, Easton had already pulled her into his arms. By the ti she reacted, it was too late for anything else.
