As soon as Evelyn Taylor finished speaking, Ryan Taylor imdiately looked at Easton Hols, who was sitting beside them. Seeing Easton’s face turning sour, he knew his sister had caused trouble again.
"Evelyn! Don’t speak recklessly."
Before his good friend could open his mouth, Ryan Taylor took the lead in rebuking his sister. Now he was sowhat regretful, regretting that he had not managed to stop her at the bar earlier.
Evelyn was feeling quite uncomfortable. Now, having drunk so much, she was completely unaware of herself, "How did I speak recklessly? I was just telling the truth. That woman is nothing but a broken..."
"Evelyn Taylor!"
Before Evelyn could finish her sentence, Easton Hols couldn’t hold back any longer and shouted her na loudly, his voice full of anger and his expression extrely grim.
When she first called Lily Turner a washed-up star, he was already too angry to listen.
But she continued speaking despite being advised against it. He really found it intolerable; if it weren’t for the fact that her brother was his good friend, he would have thrown her out long ago.
"Why are you shouting at ? Did I say sothing wrong?"
It was the first ti Evelyn had seen Easton Hols get so angry with her, and her heart was clearly filled with fear. She loudly refuted to cover up the fear in her heart.
Upon hearing this, Ryan imdiately spoke up: "Don’t you know if what you said was wrong? Stop speaking nonsense, or I’ll take you ho right now."
Saying that, he got up and moved closer to his sister, ready to take her away at any mont.
"I’m not going ho. I want to stay here tonight." Evelyn leaned back on the sofa and grabbed hold of Thomas Fisher, who was sitting on her other side, "Thomas! You don’t go back tonight either. Let’s stay here together."
Even though she was drunk, she still had a shred of clarity, knowing who was most likely to help her now.
If it had been before, Thomas Fisher might have dared to be a little difficult and stayed, but he had seen very clearly what just happened, and he knew that his brother was very angry now.
Occasionally, causing so trouble is fine, but it depends on the timing.
Thomas patted Evelyn’s hand on his arm and sighed helplessly, "I wouldn’t dare to compare with you. If I don’t go ho tonight, my ears will suffer."
"Be good, go ho with your brother later." He stroked her head like coaxing a disobedient child.
"Now, none of you care about anymore. You all dislike , you all find annoying." Evelyn initially thought she had found an ally but was rejected and felt even more annoyed when he sided with her brother.
Hearing this, Ryan retorted irritably, "If you don’t want people to find you annoying, don’t do things that annoy them."
He was truly worried. How did his sister beco like this?
The power of love is indeed imnse, to have turned soone into this in such a short ti.
"What did I do that annoyed you all? I was just speaking so hard truths earlier." Evelyn still maintained her stance and showed no sign of stopping. She paused briefly and continued, "Ever since that woman appeared, you’ve all been against . What’s so good about her? What made you change like this overnight?"
