After ending the call with Freya Yeager, Lily Turner didn’t bother to sulk or worry about other things. She threw her phone onto the sofa and turned around to pack her luggage.
Once her luggage was packed, she didn’t dare pause for a mont. She grabbed a clean set of clothes and quickly headed to the bathroom.
She needed to hurry and take a shower because after that, she had to rush back to her private apartnt. Freya Yeager would be there to pick her up in an hour.
Lily Turner had just entered the bathroom when Easton Hols pushed open the door and ca in. Once inside, the first thing he did was glance at the bed. He didn’t see her, but he imdiately noticed the suitcase placed beside the bed.
The mont he saw the suitcase, his brows furrowed sharply. Just as he was about to turn and leave the room to look for Lily Turner, he heard the sound of running water from the bathroom.
Changing direction, he walked straight towards the bathroom.
As he reached the door, ready to push it open and rush in, Easton Hols suddenly stopped, staring blankly at the closed door. He raised his hand and knocked on the door.
Bang, bang, bang!
Hearing the knocking, Lily Turner, who was taking a shower inside, imdiately beca alert. She wrapped her arms around her chest and turned to look in the direction of the door.
"I’m taking a shower. Are you back?"
The person knocking didn’t speak, but Lily Turner knew it must be Easton Hols since he usually returned at this ti after morning training.
"Are you going on a trip?"
As he asked, Easton Hols glanced at the suitcase placed beside the bed.
Hearing this, Lily Turner knew that Easton Hols had seen the suitcase she had just left by the bed, and she felt a bit deflated.
"I’m going to City J to record a show."
She spoke honestly, without any hint of concealnt. She never intended to hide this from him from the beginning.
"Aren’t you on vacation?"
Easton Hols wasn’t doubting that Lily Turner was lying to him, but he was a bit puzzled. He didn’t understand why she had to work during her break.
In his understanding, a vacation ant one should rest and not work; otherwise, it wouldn’t be called a vacation.
However, knowing she was going out of town to record a show rather than running away from ho, he let out a big sigh of relief, and his furrowed brow gradually relaxed.
Lily Turner let out a big sigh: "It’s been cut short!"
Thinking about how her vacation had been cut short due to company pressure, she couldn’t help but sigh, looking a bit gloomy.
"You... don’t want to go?"
The water was loud inside, so Easton Hols didn’t hear Lily Turner’s sigh, but he could sense from her tone that she wasn’t happy and not very interested in the matter.
What could she do if she didn’t want to go?

Lily Turner was aware of this. She sensibly decided to do as she was told and not indulge in other thoughts.
"Hurry up with your shower, or the food will get cold."
After not hearing any response from Lily Turner for a while, Easton Hols knocked on the door, thinking that she must have sothing difficult to say. He didn’t pursue the matter further from outside the door, planning to ask her in more detail once she ca out.
"I know!"
Hearing Lily Turner’s response, Easton Hols turned and left the room, going to the bathroom outside the room for a shower.
The two of them finished their showers almost simultaneously, and both of them looked refreshed afterward.
"Let’s go downstairs to eat, we can talk while we eat."
Easton Hols led Lily Turner out of the room and down the stairs. At this ti, he was still thinking about discussing the earlier matter with her. He wanted to clarify things before heading to the Military Departnt.
