After finishing the call with Alice Turner, Thomas Fisher imdiately called Easton Hols, but the phone rang for a long ti without anyone answering, until it automatically hung up and no one picked up.

Thomas Fisher dialed Easton Hols’s number again in confusion. The phone rang for a long, long ti, and just when he thought it would be the sa situation as before, soone on the other end finally picked up.
"There’s..."
"Big brother! What on earth are you busy with? Why did it take you so long to answer the phone?"
Before Easton could utter the next two words, Thomas interrupted him, but imdiately seized the conversation again, "If you have sothing to say, just say it. Why all the chit-chat."
Although the tone carried impatience, it didn’t show any displeasure at all.
"Haha!"
Thomas Fisher laughed foolishly before continuing, "It’s not looking for you, but your sister-in-law wanting to find your wife."
He didn’t dare beat around the bush with his big brother on the phone and told the truth directly.
Upon hearing this, Easton Hols instantly frowned, "She called you?"
Since when did this brat get so chummy with Alice Turner? Able to relay ssages for his good buddy’s wife to him.
"Yeah! Your third sister-in-law said she couldn’t reach your wife by phone. She asked to pass on the ssage that there’s an urgent matter and your wife should call her back imdiately." At this mont, Thomas Fisher was solely focused on relaying Alice Turner’s ssage and didn’t think much of anything else, as he couldn’t think of any other possibility for the mont.
"I got it."
Easton Hols simply said "I got it," and hung up the phone without saying an extra word to Thomas Fisher.
After hanging up, he didn’t pause for a mont and imdiately called ho to find Lily Turner.
"What’s up?"
When Easton Hols called, Lily Turner was lying on the sofa in the room, reading a book about pregnancy knowledge. Because she could reach the fixed phone on the side table, she didn’t get up.
It was rare for him to call during work hours, so she figured he must have sothing to discuss with her. He wasn’t the type to slack off over a woman.
Although it was indeed for a reason that he called, hearing Lily Turner’s question still made Easton Hols feel sowhat annoyed, and he retorted, "Can’t I call you if there’s nothing going on?"
Because he was in a bad mood, his tone was also sowhat unpleasant.
"Of course!"

Easton Hols had been with Lily Turner long enough to know her beyond her expectations.

Before he could speak, she quickly added, "If you have nothing else, I’m hanging up; I’m tired."
"Wait a minute, I do have sothing to tell you."
Just as Lily Turner was about to hang up, Easton Hols hurriedly called out to stop her. Upon hearing his voice, she pressed the receiver back to her ear.
"Your sister has an urgent matter to discuss with you. She wants you to call her back imdiately." Worried that she’d hang up, he didn’t pause and imdiately elaborated.
