Theodore Hols’s words were like a sharp sword, piercing deeply into Alia Linton’s heart, causing her such pain that even breathing beca difficult. It took her a long while to recover.

"Mom! What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell anywhere?" Theodore Hols reached out to support Alia Linton, but as soon as his hand extended, she slapped it away, prompting his startled exclamation, "Mom! Why did you hit ?"

He used the word "hit" instead of "slap," and he said it so loudly.

"I did hit you! Who told you to speak recklessly?"

Alia Linton glared angrily at Theodore Hols standing before her. For the sake of this ungrateful child, she had abandoned her own son to her father, and yet he heartlessly used such words to provoke her.

Theodore Hols, looking down at Alia Linton who was a head shorter, wore an expression of grievance, "Mom! Just now I..."

Screech!

At this mont, Fabian Hols erged from the study, striding towards Alia Linton and Theodore Hols. As he walked, he shouted at Theodore Hols, "Children shouldn’t ddle in adult affairs. Go upstairs to sleep quickly."

He hurried over in a few strides, without hesitation, he pulled Theodore Hols away from Alia Linton and simultaneously pushed him towards the stairs.

"Dad! I’m not a child anymore, I alr..."

"Even if you’re eighty years old now, you’re still a child to ."

Before Theodore Hols could finish his sentence, Fabian Hols straightforwardly cut him off and, speaking, gave Theodore Hols another push.

"Hurry up and go upstairs, be obedient!"

Seeing Theodore Hols hesitating without moving, Fabian Hols grew anxious, glared darkly, and urged once more.

Theodore Hols looked at Fabian Hols, then turned to glance at Alia Linton. After a mont’s hesitation, he eventually turned and headed for the stairs.

"You’re really protective, am I a tiger? If I were a tiger, would he still be alive now?"

The mont Theodore Hols left, Alia Linton angrily confronted Fabian Hols.

Hearing Alia Linton’s angry voice coming from beside him, Fabian Hols quickly diverted his gaze from Theodore Hols to Alia Linton, glaring at her, "He’s just an innocent child, don’t drag him into this."

Just as he had entered the study and hadn’t yet reached the desk, he heard Theodore Hols’s shout. Sensing sothing amiss, he promptly turned and returned from the study.

Upon coming out, he saw Theodore Hols and Alia Linton standing together, seemingly arguing.

He took a deep breath, dared not hesitate, and imdiately approached.

"He’s innocent, but are Easton and I not innocent?"

Seeing Fabian Hols’s words implicitly and explicitly defending Theodore Hols, Alia Linton’s anger surged, and she raised her hand to strike his chest, "How can you treat Easton and like this? Did you think of Easton and when you were fooling around with that woman?"

The more she spoke, the more emotional she beca. After speaking, she grabbed his collar in her agitation.

Knowing he was at fault, facing Alia Linton’s angry questioning, Fabian Hols, though angry inside, rembered that he had indeed been wrong back then. He worked hard to suppress his anger within.

"It’s been so many years, and I did admit my mistakes back then. What’s the point of bringing it up now?" He tried to speak calmly and to keep his emotions steady.
