Upon learning that Alice Turner had taken ti off specifically to accompany her, a warm current instantly flowed through Lily Turner’s heart. She secretly vowed to herself that she would treat her sister well for the rest of her life.
"Last night, Grant called and asked if the information leaked online was true." On her way back from the hospital last night, Alice Turner received a call from Grant Heath. She felt that this matter should be ntioned to Lily Turner.
Lily Turner didn’t know that the nurse had leaked her hospitalization to the internet. Upon hearing Alice’s words, she felt very shocked and puzzled.
Putting the bowl and spoon in her hand on the coffee table, she got up and sat next to Alice, "What information? What has been leaked about online again?"
Not knowing what kind of information it was, she couldn’t help but start to worry.
Seeing Lily’s face full of confusion and surprise, Alice suddenly rembered that Lily was unaware of what happened last night. She sighed inwardly, realizing she had made a mistake.
"That you’re in the hospital."
Since she had accidentally let it slip, there was no point in hiding it any further.
Alice explained in detail what the nurse did the previous night to Lily and also told her the truth about Easton Hols changing her hospital room.
"Easton really cares about you."
Recounting last night’s events, Alice was still full of envy, admiring that her sister had found a man who truly cherished her.
Only now did Lily realize everything Easton had done for her the previous night. While touched, she also felt particularly frustrated with herself for misunderstanding his good intentions.
"Sis! What did you tell Grant?" She put her emotions aside and asked.
"I told him I didn’t know either."
When Grant asked about Lily last night, Alice was briefly stunned but quickly feigned a surprised look.
She asked him what was leaked online, pretending to be confused despite knowing the truth.
Hearing Alice say this, Lily breathed a sigh of relief. "I’m glad you didn’t tell him, or he would have attracted the paparazzi to ."
If she had told him, that guy visiting would undoubtedly have brought the paparazzi, ruining everything Easton had done.
"Don’t worry, being around a superstar like you for so long, I now know what to say and what not to say." Alice joked, but her words were earnest.
Ever since Lily beca a star, Alice felt like she had also entered the entertainnt industry, becoming incredibly cautious about everything she did.
She constantly kept a clear head around others and even when drinking, she’d ensure she stayed entirely sober, not risking any slip-ups that might cause trouble for her sister.
Upon hearing this, Lily wrapped her arm around Alice’s, "I knew my sister would handle it properly and impeccably."
Her praise was absolutely genuine, with not a hint of flattery or falsehood.
"Alright! Stop buttering up."
Alice feigned annoyance, but there was no hint of it on her face. She lowered her gaze to Lily’s belly and asked, "How are you feeling now? Is your stomach still uncomfortable?"
As she asked, she carefully reached her hand towards Lily’s belly.
Squeak!
Upon hearing the noise, the sisters turned their heads towards the door and were both stunned to see who walked in.
