Alice Turner finished two phone calls and finally felt at ease to quietly go back to cook for Lily Turner.
But over at the hospital, Easton Hols and Lily Turner were not at peace right now.
After Thomas Fisher finished his call with Alice Turner, he imdiately drove to the hospital that was trending online. Before heading out, he didn’t call Easton Hols.
When Thomas Fisher arrived at the hospital, Easton Hols was just about to leave to buy so sour plums for Lily Turner. Seeing Thomas Fisher walking towards the room, he froze for a mont but quickly returned to normal.
Thomas Fisher also noticed Easton Hols, who had just walked out of the room. He subconsciously quickened his pace, and before he even got close, he called out, "Hey, man! Where are you heading?"
As soon as he said that, he had already walked over.
"You’re just in ti, go to the store and buy so sour plums for your sister-in-law," Easton Hols said unceremoniously, paying no mind to whether Thomas Fisher had just arrived, and directly passing the task to him.
Hearing this, Thomas Fisher’s face imdiately fell, "I’m here to visit my sister-in-law, not to run errands for you."
He tried to go around and head into the room, but before he reached the door, his big brother pulled him aside.
"How can you visit your sister-in-law empty-handed? Quit complaning and go downstairs to buy so sour plums," Easton Hols blocked the doorway, giving Thomas Fisher no chance to rush inside, and even pushed him a little as he spoke.
Though Thomas Fisher was unwilling, seeing the situation, he knew he couldn’t avoid the task today. He glanced at Easton Hols with discontent before turning and heading towards the elevator.
Seeing Thomas Fisher walk away, Easton Hols pushed the door back open and returned to the room. Seeing him back just two minutes after leaving, Lily Turner frowned with confusion, "Why are you back? Forgot your wallet?"
Having just left and returned so soon, this was the only reason she could think of.
"Soone else is taking care of it."
Easton Hols closed the door and walked towards the woman lying on the bed, rely saying soone else is handling it without specifying who.
"Soone else is handling it? Who? Luke Crowe?"
Unaware, Lily Turner thought Easton Hols had called Luke Crowe again. At this mont, she didn’t even think about Thomas Fisher.
Easton Hols didn’t say yes or no. He leaned down and sat by the bed, "It doesn’t matter who buys it; you just eat it."
As he spoke, he tucked her in.
This man could really delegate tasks — even sothing as simple as buying sour plums.
In Lily Turner’s understanding, Easton Hols saying this was akin to confirming that Luke Crowe was the one buying it for him.
Having that thought in mind, she began to feel a bit dissatisfied with his approach, but she didn’t say anything and just turned her back to him.
"Feeling sleepy?"
Knowing full well that she wasn’t sleepy, Easton Hols still asked, leaning over to look at her as she turned away from him.
Her eyes were wide open, nowhere near looking sleepy, but upon hearing his words, she quickly closed her eyes.
"I’m a bit tired, need to nap for a while, do whatever you like," Lily Turner, though with her eyes shut, knew Easton Hols was watching her. She reached out and tugged her blanket, pulling it over her head to block his gaze.
Seeing this, Easton Hols reached out and pulled the blanket off her head, "Sleeping with the blanket over your head isn’t good, too stuffy."
