Easton Hols and Thomas Fisher had already grown accustod to this way of communicating, but for Lily Turner, who was eting them for the first ti, her heart was filled with worry, afraid that the two of them would cause so sort of unpleasantness. She felt she couldn’t stay silent any longer.
"Your big brother didn’t an it that way."
"I did an it that way."
Lily Turner tried to explain Easton Hols’ words to Thomas Fisher, but was contradicted by the person in question. She turned her head and looked at the man who contradicted her with dissatisfaction.
Dissatisfied as she was, she didn’t say anything to refute him, but she did angrily mutter to herself: Ungrateful!
"Sister-in-law! Did you see that? I’ve grown up under the tornt of my big brother all these years. The shadow in my heart is now very large." Thomas Fisher spoke with increasing grievance, and by the end, he was even pouting his lips pathetically, "Sister-in-law! I need comfort!"
As he spoke, he reached his hand out towards his sister-in-law, but just as his hand extended over, it was smacked away by his big brother.
Easton Hols looked at his brother, who was always making trouble out of nothing, without a hint of expression on his stern face. "Go seek comfort from your girlfriends, stop clinging to my wife."
After saying that, he pulled the woman in his embrace closer, holding her tightly as if she would be snatched away by soone else the mont he let go.
"Girlfriends?!"
Upon hearing Easton Hols’ words, Lily Turner exclaid, and just as the words left her mouth, she realized she might have upset him, and quickly covered her mouth with her hand.
Seeing this, Easton Hols ca to her rescue and said, "Yes, girlfriends. If you’re really curious, I’ll take you to visit them soday."
He used the word "visit," as if those girlfriends were so kind of architectural structures.
"Bro! You’re making sound like a playboy." Thomas Fisher turned his gaze to Lily Turner, who was being held in Easton Hols’ arms. "Sister-in-law! Don’t let my big brother mislead you. I don’t hang out with won all the ti like a playboy."
Though he had many female friends, he absolutely wasn’t a playboy; there was nothing ambiguous going on with those won.
After hearing the conversation between the two brothers, Lily Turner put down her hand that was covering her mouth, but she didn’t intend to say anything about it. She just silently smiled at Thomas Fisher.
"Don’t smile at like that! I’m really not a playboy." Thomas Fisher felt sothing off about her smile, thinking she must have misunderstood him. He quickly defended himself.
Upon hearing this, Lily Turner imdiately put away her smile. "I’m not laughing at you. Don’t misunderstand."
She simply didn’t know what to say and gave a little smile. She didn’t expect it to be misunderstood by him. Did her smile really look that abnormal?
"Wife! Don’t pay attention to him. He’s feeling guilty."
Easton Hols ca in to stir up trouble, causing Thomas Fisher to once again wail towards him, "Bro! If you keep this up, I’ll never find a wife."
Despite Easton Hols’ words, Thomas Fisher wasn’t the least bit angry because he knew his big brother was just joking with him and ant no harm.
Deep down, he wasn’t worried about not finding a wife either. With his qualifications, he believed not only could he find a wife, but he could find a very good one too.
"Sister-in-law! If I can’t find a wife by then, you must help ." He once again pitifully sought her help.
