Today, Alice Turner and Lily Turner, the two sisters, were very happy. After a delightful al, they lay on the living room sofa and chatted about everything under the sun.
In the past, the two sisters often chatted together, always having endless topics to discuss, sotis talking for the entire night.
Since getting married, this was the first ti they chatted so freely and happily. Such days would beco increasingly rare.
They each had their own small families now; whether happy or not, they wouldn’t feel as free as when they were single. Most importantly, they no longer lived under the sa roof.
So today, the two sisters cherished this beautiful ti of freedom and ease without any interruptions.
"Will you go back to acting after having the baby?"
Alice Turner tilted her head to look at Lily Turner lying on the adjacent sofa. Her sister had impulsively entered the entertainnt industry, but now that she’d completely left that man, Alice thought her sister would reconsider the matter.
Hearing her sister’s question, Lily Turner instinctively turned her head to look over. Her charming face wore a confused expression, "What else can I do if I don’t act now?"
She didn’t want to go back to acting, but what else could she do if she didn’t?
Although she finished her university education, she had almost forgotten all those specialized skills she learned and couldn’t possibly be a doctor.
Doctors are angels in white who save lives. If she beca a doctor, it’d be more like soone handing out death sentences.
Not wanting to act, unable to be a doctor, and not wanting to stay ho doing nothing.
Why did she suddenly feel so useless? Was she just a complete wreck?
On hearing this, Alice Turner blurted out, "You could beco the doctor you always wanted to be."
No one else knows, but she knows that her sister’s dream was always to be an angel in white.
Since childhood, her sister had been working hard towards this dream, until she encountered that man nad Tang on her journey.
After eting that Tang, her sister beca wholly entangled until she finally withdrew, battered and bruised.
"Sigh!"
Hearing her sister’s words, Lily Turner could only sigh, "The dical knowledge I learned in college, I’ve already returned, bit by bit, to the teachers over the past two years."
Recalling what she had done these years, she couldn’t help but let out another sigh.
"So young, don’t keep sighing like that, making yourself seem like an old lady. No! Even old ladies don’t sigh all day like you do." Hearing Lily’s constant sighing, Alice sat up, looking worried and heartbroken.
Seeing Alice sitting up, Lily sat up too and imdiately noticed the worry on her sister’s face. She quickly put away her sighing mood and replaced it with a more relaxed expression.
"Don’t be so tense. I was just idly lanting." She paused and then continued, "Sis! Do you believe ? I’m truly happy and content now."
With a loving husband and a baby on the way, plus a grandfather and sister who care and love her so much, she should feel content.
"I believe you!"
Alice moved to sit beside Lily and placed a hand on her shoulder, gripping it firmly, "You will only get happier and more joyful from now on."
She didn’t just say it; she believed it even more strongly in her heart.
