Aiden Taylor wasn’t questioning Michael Linton’s words; rather, he was very surprised. He hadn’t expected things to happen so coincidentally that he didn’t know what to say.
"You can co over to the house tomorrow and take a look. Once you see Lily, you’ll understand," Michael knew that Aiden wasn’t doubting him, but he still invited Aiden to co over and see Lily Turner. He believed that once Aiden saw Lily, everything would beco clear to him.
Aiden thought the sa; he wanted to see Lily Turner himself, and this ti he intended to pay close attention.
"What ti would be suitable for to co over tomorrow?"
Upon learning that his brother’s daughter was in the Linton Family, Aiden wished he could go see her now, but he couldn’t rush in like that, as it would frighten his niece.
Michael tilted his head and thought for a mont before replying, "How about tomorrow evening?"
If he went over hastily during the day, the old man of his house would definitely get suspicious. Until this matter was fully confird, he planned to keep it from the old man.
"Sure."
Currently, Aiden felt indescribable sorrow. If only his brother hadn’t had that accident back then, things would certainly be different now.
"Lily... Is Lily’s mother doing well now?" Aiden glanced at Michael and, seeing no unusual reaction from him, felt reassured enough to ask.
"She seems to be doing quite well."
Michael rely expressed his perception of what he had observed. As for how well she was truly doing, only those involved could understand that clearly. He could only witness what they showed outwardly.
Aiden sighed deeply, "It’s good if they’re doing well. Back then, our Taylor Family went too far."
Recalling what happened back then, he couldn’t help but sigh again.
"It’s been over twenty years now. Let’s just let it go by," Michael said lightly, but in his heart, it was not so easy. Over the years, he often thought of the events from more than twenty years ago, and each ti he recalled them, he felt particularly heavy.
"She must really hate our Taylor Family; otherwise, she wouldn’t have avoided contact with us all these years. Did she change her na?" Over the years, Aiden had been searching for his brother’s wife and daughter, but he had never found them. At one point, he thought they had both gone far away.
But what he hadn’t expected was that the mother and daughter were both in Fla City, and so close to the Taylor Family. The only explanation he could think of was that they had changed their nas.
If Aiden hadn’t suddenly brought it up, Michael would have indeed forgotten about it. Over the years, he hadn’t given up searching for the mother and daughter, but like Aiden, he never found them.
"I’m not sure if she changed her last na, but I know she did change her first na. She’s no longer Jasmine; she’s now Sophia," he heard Christopher Turner call her Sophia tonight, and he rembered it clearly.
"She really changed her na. No wonder I haven’t been able to find them all these years." Aiden paused, then asked, "What’s her husband’s na now?"
He wasn’t investigating; he just wanted to learn more about the mother and daughter’s current situation so he could report back to his deceased brother.
The Taylor Family owed the mother and daughter too much, and he was determined to compensate them well on behalf of his brother and parents.
