Theodore Hols was not wearing the loungewear he had on while chatting in the living room earlier; instead, he was dressed in casual attire. Alia Linton, with her sharp eyes, noticed he held car keys in his hand, looking like he was about to go out.
"I can’t sleep, going out for a drive."
After saying this, he headed downstairs. After taking two steps down, he suddenly stopped, turned his head, and looked at her. "Mom! You look like you can’t sleep either. Why don’t you co for a drive with ?"
He stood there waiting for her answer. Standing backlit, the emotions in his eyes were hidden in the darkness.
Alia Linton was feeling irritated and annoyed, troubled about how to vent. Theodore Hols’ suggestion was exactly what she had in mind, so without even thinking, she imdiately nodded and agreed, "Okay."
She agreed while walking down towards him.
"Let’s go!"
Theodore seed very excited, giving Alia a thumbs-up gesture. When she ca down, he went downstairs with her.
Soon, the two of them left the house.
Fabian Hols, who was taking a breath on the balcony, saw Theodore Hols and Alia Linton co out of the house and get into the car Theodore had parked in the yard.
Seeing this scene, his heart suddenly skipped a beat, and he hurriedly turned around and ran downstairs.
By the ti he reached the first floor, he already heard the sound of a car engine starting outside. By the ti he chased after it, the car had disappeared without a trace.
Instinctively, Fabian ran towards the gate, but it was already too late; he didn’t even see the shadow of the car.
He took out his phone from his pocket and imdiately dialed Alia Linton’s number, but the phone rang for a long ti without being answered. Until the system automatically hung up, he hadn’t heard her voice.
He dialed her number again; her phone was ringing, but no one answered, just like the first ti.
He didn’t give up nor did he get discouraged, dialing her number for the third ti, but the result was the sa as the previous tis.
Still unwilling to give up, he continued to dial several more tis, but the result was disappointing and very worrying.
Alia had not answered his calls. Fabian Hols could no longer remain calm. Thinking about the argunt earlier in the room, he couldn’t wait any longer.
No longer standing at the gate making call after call, he put away his phone, turned around, went back inside, returned to his room to grab his car keys, and quickly left the house again.
He went to the garage to take his car and then drove away at high speed.
As Fabian Hols drove out of the complex gate, he glanced out the window; for a mont, he didn’t know which direction to follow. Hearing a car coming from behind, he decisively chose a direction and chased after it.
After driving so distance, Fabian picked up his phone and dialed Theodore Hols’ number. However, what he didn’t know was that when Theodore left, he didn’t take his usual phone but had a phone he never used in front of them.
As expected, there was no one on the other end of the line, so how could anyone answer his call?
Alia’s phone lay alone on the sofa in the living room, and Theodore hadn’t brought the phone they knew about.
Fabian was completely unaware of all this; neither of them answered his calls, and he instantly beca anxious.
In his urgency, he suddenly thought of Easton Hols, not caring what ti it was or if the other party would respond to him.
He found the contact marked as the eldest son in his address book, hesitated slightly, but he finally dialed out.
