Sophia Wood firmly opposed going to the Military District Compound, making Lily Turner feel a bit troubled. She didn’t want either side to be unhappy. She told her mother over the phone that she would discuss it with Easton Hols, then hung up.
"Sis! I’m heading out for a bit, wait for my news."
Before she finished speaking, she was already walking towards the door.
At that mont, Easton Hols was anxiously waiting for Lily Turner. Seeing her return with a worried look, he instantly guessed that things weren’t going smoothly.
"Mom disagrees?"
Before Lily Turner could approach him, Easton Hols spoke up. Although he was asking, he didn’t need her to respond because he already had the answer from her expression.
Hearing this, Lily Turner blurted out, "How did you know my mom disagrees?"
She walked over with a surprised look and sat down beside him.
"I could tell from your expression."
While Easton Hols was worried, he patiently explained to Lily Turner.
"Actually, I disagree too. I want to get married from my family’s ho, not our place, but my mom’s." Lily Turner took Easton Hols’s arm and tugged at his sleeve with her other hand, "Can’t you agree? I’ll just stay at my mom’s tonight, is that okay?"
Her tone and expression clearly showed she was playfully begging, yet she didn’t even realize it herself.
Easton Hols wanted to shake his head and refuse, but seeing Lily Turner’s playful deanor, he lted instantly, the firm resolve in his heart crumbled in an instant.
"But you must promise , promise not to see those random people." He was hinting, and it was this concern that made him not want her to go back to her mom’s.
"I promise I won’t et any random people."
Lily Turner was very clear about who Easton Hols referred to as those random people, and she definitely wouldn’t go to see that woman. She had just accidentally run into her on the way back to the compound.
She’s not soone who likes to wander outside, so the chances of her eting strangers are very low.
"Honey! You’re the best!"
Lily Turner leaned in and kissed Easton Hols on the cheek, then quickly got up and left the living room.
Watching her hurriedly walk out, Easton Hols’s lips curled into a joyful smile, and he couldn’t hide the wide grin on his face.
"Sis! We can go now!"
Lily Turner hadn’t even reached the study’s door and was already loudly calling for Alice Turner.
Hearing her call, Alice Turner walked out of the study. Seeing Lily Turner’s cheerful deanor, Alice Turner guessed the outco, "Easton agreed."
She wasn’t asking; she was confirming a fact.
"Yes!"
Lily Turner nodded repeatedly and waved her hand, "Let’s hurry up and go."
Seeing her sister back to her happy state, Alice Turner was completely relieved and left ho with her sister and brother-in-law.
"Sis! Wait for a mont."
As they were about to get in the car, Lily Turner suddenly rembered sothing and quickly walked over to Easton Hols. Seeing her walking towards him, he asked puzzledly, "What’s up?"
He wasn’t in the mood to think she was coming over to go ho with him.
"Are you going to my mom’s tonight?"
"Yes, do you need sothing?"
"My wedding dress is still at Grandpa’s place. Can you pick it up for when you go tonight?"
Lily Turner didn’t want to make a special trip to get it. She asked Easton Hols to bring it over when he went tonight. After dealing with this matter, she turned and got into Alice Turner’s car.
