If Alice Turner had asked this right after discovering Henry Thompson and Jenny York together, Lily Turner would have told Alice that she did, but now she doesn’t have any feelings left. The man with the surna Thompson has completely vanished from her heart.
A jerk like that, how did she even fancy him before? She must have had so serious issues with her eyes back then.
"Sis! Don’t worry, I see everything clearly now. I know who sincerely cares for , who truly cherishes ." Lily Turner reached out and wrapped her arm around Alice Turner, tilting her head to rest on her sister’s shoulder, "Anyone could betray , but I firmly believe that my sister never will."
She said this not out of emotion, nor impulsively, but from the bottom of her heart.
All these years, her sister has always been good to her, from the mont they first t to now, as they’ve grown. Her sister has consistently been good to her.
She had seen step-siblings with bad relationships before, so even causing trouble at the police station.
She felt fortunate to have such a good sister. If it weren’t for her sister accompanying her all the way, she wouldn’t know how she would have made it through all these years.
The words Lily Turner just said took Alice Turner by surprise, and at the sa ti, she was deeply moved.
She hadn’t expected her little sister to trust her so much, to believe that she would never betray her sister in this lifeti.
Such trust from her sister moved her, made her happy, and comforted her even more.
Her efforts over the years hadn’t gone to waste, even though she had genuinely been giving without expecting anything in return. But her little sister acknowledging her efforts, if she said she wasn’t pleased, it would be a lie.
"Sis believes you will only get better and happier in the future." Alice Turner turned slightly to face Lily Turner, "You’re right, in this lifeti I will always be your sister, a sister who will never betray you."
"Sis!"
Lily Turner reached out and hugged her sister. At this mont, Alice Turner was also deeply moved, opening her arms to hug her back.
The two sisters, moved by each other’s affection, hugged tightly in happiness.
As Easton Hols drove up, he happened to see this scene, and his eyebrows imdiately furrowed. What were these two sisters doing in the yard?
And hugging like that, did sothing just happen?
With confusion and curiosity, Easton Hols opened the car door and got out. At this ti, Thomas Fisher, who ca with him, also got out of his own car.
"Big brother! So this is the family ho of the sister-in-law?"
As Easton Hols’ best man for tomorrow’s wedding and the mastermind behind Easton’s proposal plan, Thomas Fisher had rushed to the large courtyard this afternoon to et up with Easton Hols. His big brother was here to pick up the sister-in-law for the proposal scene, how could he, the mastermind, not tag along?
He sowhat abused his authority, as his big brother didn’t want him to co along, but he shalessly followed anyway.
"Can’t you see for yourself?"
Easton Hols, half-heartedly, glanced at the tag-along Thomas Fisher and took a step toward the yard.
anwhile, Alice and Lily Turner heard the sound of a car stopping at the gate, and they instinctively let go of each other, then glanced in unison toward the gate.
At this mont, they saw Easton Hols walking into the yard, with Thomas Fisher following behind him. They could only see the silhouette of a man behind Easton, and neither of them could clearly see who it was.
