As soon as Michael Linton spoke, Easton Hols had an inkling about what they wanted to discuss. He remained silent for a mont before slowly turning his head to look at Callix Linton and Michael Linton, who were sitting not far away.
"If both of you agree to let them co, I have no objections." He neither directly agreed nor explicitly disagreed. He just vaguely stated that if they agreed, he had no objections.
"Then I’ll give them a call."
From Easton’s words, Michael Linton discerned that he wanted his parents to co. After understanding Easton’s intentions, Michael took out his phone and decisively dialed Alia Linton’s number.
Easton didn’t object, and Callix breathed a sigh of relief. After all, tomorrow was a significant event in his life. If his parents didn’t co and he regretted it later, it would be a lifelong regret.
"Michael! It’s so late, is sothing the matter?"
After a few rings, Alia Linton answered the call.
Michael paused for a mont before speaking to his sister on the other end of the line: "Easton and Lily are having their wedding tomorrow, you..."
"They’re getting married tomorrow?! Wasn’t it supposed to be on the 8th?" Learning that Easton Hols and Lily Turner were having their wedding tomorrow, Alia Linton beca suddenly emotional, not out of anger, but because she hadn’t realized it was already the 8th.
Hearing Alia’s surprise, Michael felt both angry and deeply saddened for his nephew.
He had told them that their son was getting married on the 8th, yet they both completely forgot, and they forgot so thoroughly.
Having waited all day without seeing them arrive, he initially thought they were still angry. It turned out they had completely forgotten about the whole thing.
Fortunately, he hadn’t told his father and nephew that he had inford them about the wedding. Otherwise, their absence today would certainly have infuriated his father, and his nephew would have been heartbroken.
"They’re getting married tomorrow at the auditorium in the military district. You and your husband should co early tomorrow." To prevent his father and nephew from sensing anything unusual, he tried his best to control his emotions and maintained a calm tone.
Whether they would co depended on their decision. After all, he couldn’t exactly drag soldiers to bring them here.
Considering Callix Linton and Easton Hols, Michael tried to control his emotions on this side of the call. However, Alia Linton, not having such considerations, was only at ho with the housekeeper, Ms. Wang, on the other end.
"They..."
Before Alia could finish her sentence, the sound of a disconnect signal ca through. She pulled the phone away from her ear and glanced at it, realizing that Michael had already hung up.
Seeing the disconnected call, Alia knew her brother was angry, and she understood very well why he was upset, but she didn’t call back.
Since the day Michael reprimanded her and Fabian Hols, Fabian had moved to the office to live, and Theodore Hols had disappeared sowhere, having not been seen for days.
Alia was in a terrible mood, not in the mindset to care where the father and son had gone. She had been cooped up at ho for days, living in a daze, unsure what day of the week it was.
