Since Lily Turner is her idol, Athena Linton is extrely fond of Lily, and she becos especially emotional about anything or anyone that might harm Lily.
Although Athena’s words were a bit exaggerated, Thomas Fisher shared the sa thoughts and understanding; he had also t that woman nad Valentina.
In his eyes, that woman truly couldn’t compare to Lily Turner, not because of her looks, but because she didn’t give him a good feeling.
As a man, Thomas felt it wasn’t proper to gossip about others with Athena, as that’s not sothing a man should do. He trusted that his big brother would definitely handle this matter well.
"Thomas! You must know that woman, right? What exactly does she do?" Seeing Thomas not replying for quite a while, Athena asked the question again.
"I’m not very familiar with that woman either, I don’t know exactly what she does." Thomas was telling the truth; they had only t Valentina two or three tis, and he wasn’t familiar with her at all. His brother hadn’t told the three of them anything in detail either.
Not only was he unfamiliar with the woman nad Valentina, but the other two brothers were just as clueless about her. They had rely seen her.
Athena, unaware of the situation, thought Thomas was deceiving her and didn’t want to reveal anything about Valentina.
"How could you not know? You’re best friends with my brother. You must have t her when she was with my brother." Her analysis seed logical, and she was convinced that he knew Valentina.
"When that woman was with your brother, we’ve only seen her two or three tis, and we rely greeted each other." This girl thought he was lying to her, and Thomas sighed in frustration, hoping his honesty would be believed.
Athena had already decided in her heart that Thomas was lying. As long as he didn’t say what she wanted to hear, she insisted he was lying.
Now hearing him say such things, she still believed he was lying.
"What benefits did that woman give you? Why are you all protecting her?" She hadn’t gotten any information from her brother last night, and now asking this brother, she was still getting nothing, fueling her frustration.
"We’re protecting that woman? You’re saying and your brother are protecting her? Why would we protect that woman?" Athena didn’t explicitly say who "you all" referred to, but Thomas knew very well who she included in "you all."
How could he possibly protect that woman? He wasn’t even familiar with her, and even if he were, he wouldn’t protect her now.
He clearly understood who was distant and who was close to him.
What reason would he have to protect an unrelated woman? He didn’t have the leisure for such matters.
Athena, convinced Thomas was deceiving her, grew even more dissatisfied seeing him firmly deny it, "You all just keep protecting that woman. If the goddess sister finds out, let’s see how you all handle it."
She glared at the man driving and turned to face the car door.
"Don’t go telling your goddess sister about this; it would get your brother into big trouble." Neither Thomas nor Athena knew that Lily had already t Valentina, and they would never guess that Lily had already had a confrontation with Easton Hols because of this matter.
