Thomas Fisher sensed that sothing seed off. After instructing Athena Linton to wait obediently in the car, he quickly got out to assess the situation.
Once out of the car, he noticed that the soldiers had all disembarked and were running toward the compound entrance.
He felt increasingly uneasy; sothing must be happening at the entrance. Without much thought, he followed the soldiers.

The wedding car driven by Luke Crowe was blocked by Valentina, surrounded by reporters wielding caras intent on besieging the vehicle.
Sitting in the car, Easton Hols’s face was darker than ever. Lily Turner nervously grabbed his hand, "What does this woman want? How did she get the reporters involved?"
It had been days since they had seen such a scene. Besides feeling tense, she was filled with disgust.
"Don’t be nervous; they won’t do anything. Stay in the car while I go check it out." Having t Valentina the night before, Easton was worried about this kind of incident occurring and had already taken precautions; none of these people would breach the compound.
After calming the anxious Lily, he opened the car door and got out.
Just as Easton stepped out of the car, Valentina approached him, tears welling up in her eyes. "I knew you wouldn’t be so heartless, you..."
"Get lost with those paparazzi, or don’t bla for being rude." Easton rudely interrupted her before she could finish her sentence and quickly evaded her as she lunged toward him.
After returning ho last night, Valentina beca increasingly resentful. This morning, seeing it was about ti, she drove to the compound, hoping to win Easton back at the wedding.
Upon arriving, she realized she couldn’t get past the compound entrance.
As she stood at the entrance, unsure what to do, a flood of reporters suddenly ca rushing toward her, but they too were stopped by the soldiers on duty at the gate.
Seeing the reporters sparked an idea in Valentina—using the press to force Easton to break up with Lily.
Even if she couldn’t break them up, at least she could ruin that woman’s reputation.
Before Valentina had the chance to negotiate with the reporters, they proactively approached her, bombarding her with questions.
The reporters imdiately asked about her relationship with Easton Hols. Was Easton marrying Lily Turner today? Did Easton abandon her because of Lily?
The reporters kept questioning the three of them. At first, Valentina was puzzled—how did these reporters know about their affairs?
But her confusion was fleeting; she soon began to engage with the reporters, answering their questions.
Valentina was engaged in lively conversation with the reporters when the wedding convoy arrived. Without much thought, she ran toward the car at the front.
Luckily, Luke Crowe’s driving skills were solid, and his ntal fortitude was strong. Otherwise, Valentina could have ended up as a victim under his wheels.
"Easton! I love you. I know you love too. I know you’re marrying her just to get back at for leaving you without a word." Seeing Easton’s angry expression, Valentina started to feel scared, but when she noticed the surrounding reporters, she regained her courage.
