Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap Chapter 830: There’s No Need to Scold You Anymore
Due to the incident that happened recently when Alia Linton caused a scene at the house, Sophia Wood harbored deep resentnt towards her. However, her past hatred had gradually dissipated with the union of Easton Hols and Lily Turner, leaving only a profound sense of displeasure in her heart now.
Alia Linton still hadn’t let go; she remained filled with resentnt towards Sophia Wood. If it weren’t for the fear of being reprimanded by her father and brother, she would have kicked Sophia out long ago.
When passing by Alia, Sophia instinctively turned her head to look at her, only to find Alia looking directly back at her.
At the mont their eyes t, both were suddenly taken aback.
Alia was the first to co back to her senses and shot Sophia a hateful glare before quickly shifting her gaze elsewhere.
This small action happened to be noticed by Callix Linton, who had already been holding back anger. Now he found it unbearable. Seizing a mont when no one was watching, he grabbed Alia by the wrist.
"Hiss!"
Callix had grabbed directly onto Alia’s injury on her wrist. The sudden pain made her cry out, and her face imdiately turned sour.
Alia’s cry of pain attracted curious stares from those around, making her feel rather unpleasant.
Michael Linton, sharp-eyed, noticed Callix gripping Alia’s wrist. Knowing the truth made his heart clench, but he couldn’t say anything at the mont. He, like everyone else, had to pretend nothing was happening.
"Everyone, please co inside."
Michael, casting a glance at Callix and Alia, loudly summoned the guests indoors to divert their attention.
It worked well; those who had been watching curiously started heading inside.
Serena Zimrman led the way at the front while Fabian Hols and Michael Linton stayed back to guide the guests. Once everyone was inside, they too followed in.
Alia instinctively tried to go inside as well, but Callix yanked her back. She endured the sharp pain from her wrist, turning slightly to look at her father. "Dad! Can you let go before scolding ?"
She couldn’t struggle, for it would aggravate her wrist wound, and her father would only hold her tighter, making the pain worse.
"Scold you? Hmph!"
Callix scoffed coldly at Alia, then continued, "There’s no need to scold you anymore. If you keep acting like this, don’t bother attending the wedding later—just go back ho. We don’t need you here."
After he spoke, in a fit of anger, he flung her hand aside and strode towards the house.
Feeling deeply insulted by Callix’s harsh words, Alia couldn’t handle the mounting anger and grievance and stomped her foot in frustration,
a scene witnessed by the late-arriving Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner. The two exchanged a quick, understanding glance before moving towards Alia.
"Aunt Alia, are you alright?"
As Thomas approached, noticing Alia’s troubled expression, he couldn’t help but feel worried.
Alia was so consud by anger that she didn’t notice the two approaching. Hearing Thomas’s voice, she appeared very surprised.
She quickly masked her anger and grievances, looking toward the voice. The mont she looked over and saw Alice Turner standing with Thomas, her face turned solemn, "I’m fine!"
