Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher both noticed the change in Alia Linton’s expression, and they both knew very well the reason behind it.
"Auntie!"
Even though she knew the other party wasn’t fond of her, Alice Turner politely greeted Alia Linton. After all, she was her sister’s mother-in-law, and they were bound to et again in the future. She didn’t want to be unfriendly.
"Since you’re here, I’ll go in first."
Alice Turner didn’t expect Alia Linton to respond to her. After greeting her, she said another sentence to the two of them before quickly heading inside.
Due to Lily Turner’s relationship with Sophia Wood, Alia Linton didn’t have a favorable opinion of Alice Turner either. Watching her hurried figure entering the house, she glared, annoyed. "The whole family is the sa, no manners at all."
She was only focused on venting her dissatisfaction and anger, completely ignoring the changing expressions of the people around her.
"I’ll head in too."
Thomas Fisher originally wanted to show so concern for Alia Linton, but upon hearing her words, he imdiately felt a sense of displeasure toward her. He glanced at her and quickly followed inside.
What exactly is wrong with this brat? Why the sudden attitude towards her?
Alia Linton wasn’t blind, nor was she a fool. She clearly felt the change in Thomas Fisher’s attitude toward her.
One person was like this to her, two people were like this. Everyone had this attitude towards her. What was it about her that made them disapprove?
Even now, Alia Linton hadn’t realized what she did wrong. She still believed she was right and shifted all the bla and faults onto others.
"Sis!"
Seeing that Alia Linton hadn’t co inside yet, Michael Linton quietly asked Serena Zimrman to check on the situation. When Serena Zimrman ca out and saw Alia Linton still standing there, she had no idea what her sister-in-law was up to.
Hearing soone call her, Alia Linton snapped back to reality and looked up at the person walking towards her.
"Why did you co out?"
She knew the other person ca out to find her, but she still knowingly asked the question.
"I’ve already seated the guests. Harriet White and the others are serving them water." Serena Zimrman didn’t answer Alia Linton’s question but instead talked about the current situation at ho. As she spoke, she kept her eyes on Alia Linton, wanting to observe her emotional changes imdiately.
She was subtly reminding her sister-in-law that others were still busy hosting guests, let alone her, the hostess.
Alia Linton didn’t imdiately grasp the underlying aning behind Serena Zimrman’s words. She waved her hand at Serena Zimrman, "You go in. Don’t worry about . I’ll stay outside for a bit."
The people she resented were sitting inside, and she didn’t want to face that woman.
Anyway, her father had said she wasn’t needed there. Since everyone found her an eyesore, why should she go in and spoil everyone’s mood?
"Sis! Co in with , everyone’s inside." Although Serena Zimrman had been entertaining guests just now, it didn’t an she hadn’t noticed other things. She had noticed Alia Linton’s cold attitude toward Sophia Wood.
She could guess so of the reasons behind this.
The other woman’s daughter had already married into the family. Why treat her mother that way? This only put her own son in a difficult position.
Serena Zimrman had her opinions about Alia Linton’s actions today, but it wasn’t the ti to express them. Her priority now was to get her sister-in-law back into the house.
With guests around, how could the hostess be absent?
