The person knocking on the car window outside was a traffic cop on duty at the intersection. Seeing that Alice Turner had been parked by the roadside for a long ti without any intention of moving, he walked over to check the situation.
"You’ve even attracted a traffic cop. Are you satisfied now?" Alice Turner pulled her hand back from Thomas Fisher’s grasp and sat properly on the car seat. She lowered the car window. "I’m sorry, we’ll just..."
She was about to tell the officer that they would leave imdiately, but before she could finish, the traffic cop interrupted her. "Hello! Please show your driver’s license."
As soon as Alice Turner lowered the window, the traffic cop slled a strong odor of alcohol. Due to his professional sensitivity, he sensed sothing unusual.
Saluting Alice Turner inside the car, the traffic cop reached out his hand, requesting her driver’s license.
Alice Turner glanced at the officer outside, turned sideways to take her bag, and took out the driver’s license from inside to hand it over to the officer standing outside.
The officer took the license, looked it over, but did not imdiately return it to Alice Turner. Instead, he made another request. "Hello! Please step out of the car."
With such a strong sll of alcohol in the car, the cop suspected that Alice Turner, who was driving, might have been drinking too.
Hearing the officer asking Alice Turner to get out, Thomas Fisher leaned over, looking up at the officer standing outside. "My woman already showed you her license. Why are you being relentless?"
He held her back, preventing her from getting out of the car.
"Thomas Fisher! Don’t speak nonsense!"
Alice Turner shoved the man who was speaking nonsense away, opened the car door, and got out. She just wanted to cooperate with the officer, deal with it quickly, and get this troubleso man ho as soon as possible.
"Officer! Hi! We’ll leave imdiately. Can you please return my driver’s license?" She knew it was wrong to park randomly on the road, and she had no intention of making excuses for herself. She didn’t want to make excuses; she had always been a law-abiding citizen.
"I suspect you are involved in drunk driving. Please cooperate with for a check." The officer took out a breathalyzer and handed it to Alice Turner, asking her to blow into it for testing.
Alice Turner had always assud the officer asked for her license because of illegal parking. Hearing this, she realized the officer suspected her of drunk driving.
Thomas Fisher! You bastard, it’s all your fault!
Cursing Thomas Fisher fiercely in her mind, Alice Turner reached out for the breathalyzer handed to her by the cop and started blowing into the mouthpiece. She hadn’t had a drop of alcohol, so there was nothing to worry about.
"You haven’t been drinking, so why are you blowing into that thing!"
Thomas Fisher, who had gotten out of the car, snatched the breathalyzer from Alice Turner’s hand and imdiately returned it to the officer standing nearby. "My woman hasn’t been drinking at all. The alcohol sll you noticed is from . I just kissed her."
He stood in front of her with a righteously confident deanor, blocking the officer on duty. He didn’t feel awkward or embarrassed in the slightest.
This guy really deserves a beating!
Alice Turner wished she could slap Thomas Fisher to the ground, but with the officer standing right there, it was hard for her to physically retaliate against him.

Thankfully, the officer’s skin was tanned from being out on the streets all day; otherwise, one would definitely notice his blushing face right now.
The officer quickly concealed his embarrassed expression, looked at Thomas Fisher, then at Alice Turner, protected behind him. Considering how cooperative Alice had been earlier, the officer figured that must be the situation and didn’t ask Alice to take the breathalyzer test again.
However, the officer did not imdiately let them leave. After giving them a short lecture, he returned the driver’s license to its owner and let them go.
