After getting in the car, Alice Turner didn’t dare stay there any longer. She imdiately started the engine and drove back onto the road. Only when she saw they were far away from the traffic officer did she finally breathe a sigh of relief.
"Thomas Fisher! If you can’t keep your mouth shut next ti, I’ll tear it off!" Thinking about how the man beside her had just spewed nonsense to the officer, Alice wished she could kick him out of the car.
"I’m afraid you won’t have the heart to do it then."
Thomas leaned over, tilted his head, and smiled at the woman driving. To Alice, his smile was so punchable and infuriating.
Alice glared indignantly at the man leaning toward her. If she could, she really wanted to abandon him by the roadside and leave.
She was starting to regret it now, regretting that she had volunteered to drive him ho. Why should she care about him? He’s not her anything.
"Thomas Fisher! Can you stop being so shaless? Don’t think you can do whatever you want just because you’re handso." Damn man! He thinks he can flirt with won all over just because he’s handso. How did she not realize before that this man is so shaless?
"So I’m a handso guy in your eyes!"
Not only was Thomas unbothered by being called shaless by the woman, but he was actually quite delighted. His smile then beca even brighter, with a hint of smugness.
Hearing Thomas’ words, Alice couldn’t help but tilt her head and glare at him again, "Thomas Fisher! Do your parents know how thick-skinned you are?"
She had to admit that this man’s appearance was indeed good, but thinking about how he uses this good-looking appearance to flirt with won all over, her mood wasn’t so rosy.
"Whether my parents know or not doesn’t matter, as long as you know." Thomas leaned in closer to Alice again, tilting his head to present one side of his cheek to her, "Want to pinch my face? My thick skin is very pinchable, you’re welco to go ahead and pinch it."
He instinctively reached for her hand, but just as his hand moved forward, he suddenly realized his action was risky and quickly withdrew his hand.
Alice tilted her head to roll her eyes at Thomas, deciding not to bicker with him anymore. She put on a stern face and asked, "Where’s your ho?"
All she wanted now was to take him ho quickly so she could go back to rest.
"I already told you, I don’t want to go ho. I just want to be with you." Thomas hadn’t expected Alice to bring the topic back to the point, but he remained firm in his stance; he didn’t want to go ho, he just wanted to be with her.
Alice heard the sa answer as before, but this ti she didn’t dare to casually stop the car by the roadside, nor did she continue to question Thomas.
She already had her own plan in mind, she calmly looked at the buildings on both sides of the road, spotting a hotel not far from the intersection ahead.
She floored the gas pedal and drove straight toward the hotel.
The speed of the car suddenly accelerated, and Thomas clearly felt it, his brow furrowing in confusion. He tilted his head to look out the window and found nothing unusual.
Before Thomas could figure out what was going on, he suddenly noticed the car slowing down again, and it was getting slower. He beca even more confused than before.
"Why are you taking to the hotel?"
At this point, he noticed the car slowly driving toward the hotel’s entrance, and just as he spoke, he realized the car had already stopped.
