Upon hearing Lily Turner’s exclamation, Easton Hols, who was on his way to the bathroom, instinctively stopped in his tracks, turning his body slightly to look at her as she sat on the sofa making a call.
He frowned, standing there watching her. After a mont, whatever was said on the other end of the line made her nod and respond with a light "Oh".
Lily seed to sense Easton’s gaze and turned her head to look in his direction. He hadn’t expected her to suddenly look over, and his frown hadn’t yet had ti to soften.
"Why are you looking at with that expression? As if I’m cheating on you behind your back." Lily’s words were spoken casually, without any real aning or even a hint of teasing.
But Easton, who was standing not far away, approached her with a dark expression. Seeing this, she didn’t have ti to take the phone away from her ear and quickly stood up from the sofa.
"I was just speaking nonsense earlier, you don’t really think I’m cheating on you, do you?" Seeing Easton’s angry face, Lily’s beautiful brows knitted together instantly.
When Easton reached her, he pulled her into his arms. She thought he might punish her and was preparing to defend herself, but instead, he suddenly bent down and swept her off her feet. She exclaid, "Easton! What are you doing?"
As she spoke, she instinctively reached out to wrap her arms around his neck.
"To prevent you from sneaking off with another man, I’m taking you to shower with now." Easton’s expression had beco much softer, with a barely noticeable curve at the corner of his lips.
Annoying man! Fine, a shower together it is. But why did he have to scare her with that stony face just now?
Lily now stubbornly believes that Easton’s earlier dark expression was just to intimidate her intentionally. With this thought in mind, she raised her hand and gave him a light smack, "You wanted to shower with but scared first, aren’t you awful?"
Feeling the smack wasn’t satisfying enough, she used her hand to pinch his cheek. However, as she did so, she suddenly felt a bit reluctant.
Sighing at him, she wrapped her arms around his neck again.
Easton never imagined that instead of struggling and refusing, Lily not only didn’t try to jump down but also held onto his neck very affectionately. He could tell she was eager to shower with him.
"I was just worried you wouldn’t join , so I wanted to scare you a little." Knowing she was willing, the curve of his lips beca more pronounced. He leaned in and kissed her, "Honey! How can you be so cute?"
After speaking, he couldn’t resist kissing her again. One kiss didn’t feel enough, so he kissed her once more.
Yet, he seed unsatisfied, kissing her again and again. Eventually, he simply put her down and held her close, kissing her wantonly.
Lily could deeply feel Easton’s eagerness. She didn’t coyly refuse, nor did she coyly urge him to go shower. She stood on tiptoe, willingly leaning in closer, allowing him to hold her and misbehave.
Ever since Easton found out about Lily’s pregnancy, he had been exceptionally well-behaved, not daring to cross any boundaries.
These days, every day, he had been watching her yet unable to do anything mischievous. It had been incredibly frustrating for him, and the feeling had been hard to endure.
At this mont, he no longer needed to endure such frustration. He bent down, lifted her up, and walked with long strides towards the bed.
