Fabian Hols deliberately emphasized the words "our family" to remind Easton Hols of family ties, hoping he would show rcy to Theodore Hols.
Easton Hols’ formidable reputation was well-known even to his father; if things really escalated, his younger son was no match for his elder brother.
"Hurry up and call him."
Fabian’s obvious favoritism towards Theodore made Easton extrely uncomfortable, prompting him to urge in an unfriendly tone.
With Easton’s evident impatience and unfriendly tone, Fabian didn’t dare hesitate any longer. He pulled out his phone, found Theodore’s number, and dialed imdiately.
After the argunt with Alia Linton that night in the suburbs, Theodore hadn’t returned ho since. Fabian would occasionally see Theodore at the office, but otherwise, he hadn’t seen him at all.
What on earth had that boy done? He really had no idea, and why does he cause him so much worry?
"Hello! Dad!"
After the phone rang for a while, Theodore picked up. It was clear he had just been woken up.
Hearing Theodore’s voice, Fabian instinctively glanced at Easton before speaking to the person on the other end, "Where have you been staying these days? Why don’t you co ho to stay?"
He didn’t dare say your brother is looking for you, nor did he ask what you did to make him angry.
He just wanted to find out where the person on the other end was so his two sons could et and talk it out; what if it was just a misunderstanding? Anyway, he couldn’t let his sons’ issues alarm the police.
Fabian was unaware that the situation between Easton and Theodore had already involved the police, and he definitely didn’t know that Easton had decided to leave this matter to the police.
"Haven’t you also not returned ho these days? I’m just like you, I don’t want to see that woman either." Theodore felt a lot of resentnt towards Alia Linton and didn’t notice his voice when he spoke, and what he just said clearly reached Easton’s ears.
Fabian also realized this and looked up at Easton standing beside him. Seeing Easton’s face beco even more grim, his heart gave a sudden lurch.
"How can you talk like that? What do you an by ’that woman’? That woman is the mother who raised you." Fabian initially intended to reprimand Theodore to curb his behavior, but instead, it only fueled Theodore’s dissatisfaction and resentnt towards Alia Linton even further.
"That woman killed my mother. I would never acknowledge her as my..."
"Theodore! Stop talking nonsense!"
Fabian hadn’t expected his words to have the opposite effect; instead of moderating, Theodore beca even more extre than before.
Misunderstanding the situation, Theodore, upon being scolded by Fabian for speaking nonsense, imdiately shouted back in rebuttal: "That woman admitted it herself; stop covering for her."
His voice was already quite loud due to his anger, and now it beca even louder as he shouted.
"Back then, you..."
Easton snatched the phone from Fabian’s hand and sternly questioned Theodore on the other end: "Theodore! Just because of your wild guesses, you recklessly look for people to post online insulting and my wife?"
