Serena Zimrman’s arrival in Fla City was only known to Alia Linton when she t Serena at ho the day before yesterday. After Lily Turner and Easton Hols’ wedding, Serena had been sent away by Callix Linton.
Although she was very angry at the ti, she was in a hurry to get back to the hospital to deal with her wound, so she didn’t say much and left with Fabian Hols.
She originally thought that after her wound got better, she would return to her family ho to et with her brother and sister-in-law’s family, but who knew yesterday such a thing would happen.
Serena Zimrman also wanted to chat with Alia Linton, but she had been busy with family matters these past few days and hadn’t found the ti to visit Alia, sothing she regretted and felt uneasy about.
"Next ti, next ti we must have a good chat." This ti coming back, Serena found that Alia’s actions were becoming increasingly excessive, especially regarding Easton Hols and Lily Turner’s issue. Because of their matter, she noticed Alia had even been arguing fiercely with Callix.
As the daughter-in-law of the Linton patriarch, she felt uncomfortable watching, yet her sister-in-law seed not to care at all and still went her own way.
She was really worried that if things continued like this, their family would be thrown into chaos.
What she was most worried about was her father-in-law, the elderly Mr. Linton. At his age, if sothing happened due to anger, they, the younger generation, would regret it too late.
Alia Linton sighed, "Then so be it."
She straightened up, took a step back, putting so distance between herself and the car to allow it to leave.
At this ti, Michael Linton got off the car and walked around the front towards Alia, pulling her aside as he reached her.
"Sis! I’m begging you, please don’t go looking for trouble with Dad anymore. He really can’t take your antics any longer. Let the old man live his twilight years in peace." Michael Linton went straight to the point as soon as he opened his mouth. He didn’t have ti for subtleties now, nor the mood for indirectness with Alia.
He was both angry and anxious right now, but he had to try hard to control his emotions. The most crucial thing he had to do at this mont was to make his sister understand. However, his sister was still a bit short of a full awakening, and he couldn’t achieve that in a short while.
Alia Linton had been reprimanded by this one and scolded by that one these days, her head almost ready to explode from their rebukes, with her heart filled with these reprimanding words.
"All of you just know how to scold , saying this is wrong, that’s wrong, but have any of you considered my feelings?" Alia’s voice grew increasingly emotional, tears welling up in her eyes.
Seeing his sister so emotional, Michael was montarily stunned, but he quickly ca to his senses and sighed at his sister standing in front of him, "If you don’t want to be scolded by everyone, then restrain yourself a bit. I have already advised you before, but since you didn’t listen, there’s nothing I can do about it. Now I just hope you won’t ss with Dad anymore."
"I have to rush to the airport, so I won’t say much to you. Take care of yourself." Michael cast a helpless glance at his sister Alia before turning to get into the car. Once inside, he imdiately asked Easton Hols to drive, "Easton! Let’s go."
Watching the car speed away, Alia stood there for a long ti unable to regain her senses, only coming to when the car had disappeared from her view.
She withdrew her gaze from the distance, slowly turned towards the entrance of the courtyard, and stared inside for a long ti before getting into her own car and leaving.
