Alice Turner said so much, but not only did she fail to get Benjamin Shaw to agree to go through the divorce procedures, it even made him more stubbornly evade, "I’m just not going with you to divorce, let’s see what tricks you can pull?"

What a jerk!
Hearing the busy tone on the phone, Alice Turner looked at her phone, only then realizing Benjamin Shaw had hung up. She angrily cursed at the phone, calling him a jerk.
Alice Turner wanted to call back and argue with Benjamin Shaw, but considering it might take a long ti to argue with him, she imdiately dismissed the idea.
She thought she would deal with it after today. After all, she wasn’t in a rush. She walked over, picked up her bag, and slamd the door as she left.
With an injured hand, Alice Turner couldn’t drive, so she walked to the gate of her neighborhood to catch a taxi to her parents’ house. As she was almost there, Lily Turner called her.
"Sis! Are you out yet?" As soon as the call connected, Lily Turner asked before Alice Turner could say a word.
Alice Turner tilted her head to look out of the car window and replied, "I’m already at the doorstep of our house. How about you? Where have you and Easton Hols reached?"
As she spoke, the car had already stopped outside her house. She was on the phone while taking out her wallet to pay the fare.
"You’ve already reached ho? We’ve just left the house." Hearing that her sister had reached ho, Lily Turner turned to give the man driving a reproachful look.
Feeling her gaze, Easton Hols turned his head to look. Seeing Lily Turner’s displeased face, he didn’t need to ask to know she was blaming him for keeping her up with morning exercises, making them late. He silently smiled at her.
Seeing the man not only without a trace of guilt but also with a flowery smile, Lily Turner angrily pointed at him. If it weren’t for his driving, she would have bitten him twice.
"Well, take your ti; I’ll head inside first."
Alice Turner couldn’t see the interaction between the two on the other end of the call, and since it was silent, she didn’t hear anything.
"Alright, wait for ."
Lily Turner responded to her sister and hung up the phone. After hanging up, she imdiately looked at the man driving, "Annoying! It’s all your fault. My sister is already ho, and we just left. I’m not going back with you tonight."
She planned to stay ho tonight to have a late-night chat with her sister and mom. She mainly wanted a good chat with her sister, which she intended to do on the eve of the wedding. But since her sister returned ho very late, she hadn’t had a chance to talk.
"Then I won’t go ho either. I’ll stay at your parents’ house with you." Unaware of Lily Turner’s actual thoughts, Easton Hols thought she was upset because he had been keeping her up night and day, so she wasn’t going back ho with him.
Hearing Easton Hols say he wanted to stay at the family house with her, Lily Turner imdiately and decisively refused, "No way, you can’t stay."

"Why can’t I stay? It’s your parents’ house, and also my in-laws’. I think your father would be more than happy for to stay, and your mother should welco too." Easton Hols tilted his head to look at Lily Turner with a smug smile.
