Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster Chapter 110 110: Somewhat Ready And Before The Talk
3 days later...
***
"Rael Sutekh," the Beast muttered with a sigh. "You're not ready."
"No shit." Rael nodded. "The only thing you've been doing for the last couple of days is beating up. And wow, you're surprised I haven't made any progress."
"It's not even that." The Beast shook its head. "Most individuals gain a certain amount of stats after completing specific tasks. You lift weights, you gain Strength, you run around a lot, you gain Agility. But in your case, you're not gaining anything at all. I basically wasted three whole days on you."
Well... Rael scratched his cheek. It didn't exactly go to waste, most of my skills reached a high enough level. But yeah, my stats barely went up.
As for money? He was still pretty poor, but due to three days going by, his earnings weren't too shabby.
And that wasn't the only thing that had changed, since during those three days, Rael spent most of his ti creating constructs, and by now, he had more than a couple.
Na: Zoomba
Race: Summoned Crystal Construct
Level: 35
Health Points (HP): [6/6] ( 182%)
Mana Points (MP): [6/6] ( 182%)
Strength: 2 ( 71%)
Agility: 855 ( 71%)
Constitution: 2 ( 71%)
Intelligence: 2 ( 71%)
Wisdom: 2 ( 71%)
Charisma: 2 ( 71%)
—Special Effect: Speedy (Common)
Movent Speed increases by 25% when in combat!
Every single one of the constructs he had made was the sa.
Of course, so had another special effect, but it wasn't anything revolutionary, and in the end, they would die if even a pebble fell on them.
Despite that, he wasn't feeling overconfident in the slightest.
I might have a bunch of constructs, skills, and all that stupid stuff, but I'm still one hit away from dying, Rael thought with a sigh.
It was honestly unavoidable, and he knew that.
In the end, Rael could only hope his preparations wouldn't be in vain.
Aside from that, it was about ti he got the city shenanigans in order. After all, he had made them wait three whole days.
"When are you giving control back to Seryn, by the way?" Rael brought up, walking toward the city alongside the Beast.
However, the Beast rely shrugged. "I was going to give it back yesterday. However, he didn't seem very eager to wake up. I bet his fantasies are keeping him steady."
"On that note..." Rael trailed off, putting on a serious expression. "Is his fiancée real?"
"She is." The Beast nodded. "Most people here are real, and believe it or not, Seryn's na was a total coincidence. A funny coincidence though, and I definitely enjoyed watching you warily walk around him like so fool."
"Right..." He rolled his eyes. "But he can't escape, right?"
"No one can," the Beast affird. "I told you this last ti. No one has ever left the Depths, and they never will. It's a world on the boundary, and if we allow people to leave, then those attempting to find us will get a ping of our location."
Rael nodded. "But you do keep your word, right?"
"Naturally." The Beast chuckled. "The spider is level 822. If you manage to survive a hit, I will be surprised. If you sohow manage to light the bonfire, then I'll give you a personal ticket to travel to this world and back, as well as so nice bonuses."
The two finally reached the city, passed through the guards, and headed toward the palace where Caedia and the other empresses were.
But of course, Rael wasn't finished. "You know, when you first appeared, you gave an item."
"Hm?" The Beast tilted its head. "Show ."
"Sure," Rael replied with a smirk and pulled out a particular eyeball from his inventory before waving it around for the Beast to see.
—Fragnt of the Beast's Eye (Rare) (Soulbound)
A fragnt of the [Supre Beast Set.] Once all fragnts are collected, you shall receive the item: Core of ### (Supre) (Soulbound).
Current Progress: 1/10 Fragnts Collected.
The mont the Beast saw the item, its eyes widened.
"I gave this to you? Is that what you said?"
"Yep." Rael nodded. "You told I was talking to your younger self. Also, you looked quite slick with those white dragon wings, a golden mane, and even so hydra heads."
The Beast stared at him speechlessly before trying to reach for the item.
But before it could grasp it, Rael stashed it away in his inventory.
"Not so fast," Rael waved his finger around at the frowning Beast. "It looks like you want it, but guess what, you can't have it."
"Do you have any idea of the implications behind that item? Do you want to kill us all?" the Beast asked. "You clearly don't, otherwise you'd have given the item so I could stash it away."
"Nope~" Rael winked and sped up his pace. Finally, he arrived at the palace.
But before he went in, he addressed the Beast one last ti with a wide grin.
"I've already sent my constructs toward the spider, and I'll go there myself in a few hours. I'll enjoy the look on your face when I defy your expectations."
Before the Beast could reply, Rael nodded at the guards and jogged inside.
He wasn't familiar with the courtyard, but thankfully, there was soone here to guide him.
Therefore, he followed along and eventually arrived in front of a massive door, which the guards swiftly opened.
Inside, he saw Caedia, Esralda, and Victoria sitting around a table. Surprisingly, Michael wasn't present.
But that was better for Rael, since he wouldn't have so idiot whistling in his ear every two seconds.
Nonetheless, Rael flashed a smile at the empresses and sat down beside Caedia before taking a glance around.
"I hope I didn't make you wait too long. You see, I got a little lost on the way over," Rael said, sheepishly scratching his cheek.
"Like hell you did." Victoria scoffed. "The citizens reported seeing you outside sparring with soone."
"Did they now? Wow. That's news to ," Rael said shalessly, causing the entire room to fall silent for a mont.
However, that silence was soon broken by Esralda, who looked at each of them in the eyes and spoke.
"Let us begin."
