2115 Dean's Visit
Sam and his team watched as the Dean went to talk with other Deans and the representatives from other regional academies.
"Why are you here?"
He asked them directly.
"You know, why we are here Dean, you owe us an explanation? How does Dayus know about the information regarding the legacy inheritances? And how co you didn't share it with us? I thought we were all friends here."
"The information was acquired by the student himself and he said that he acquired it within the Dinsion. He tried to find it, and as you might know, the flaming skulls obtained it."
"Are you sure, there is nothing more to the story?"
"Yes, there is nothing more."
"Then how co, we ca across this?"
They spoke as they played out an audio clip. It was actually a video recording, but the image has been replaced with a black screen.
The Dean was stunned when he heard the clip. Because it was the conversation between him and Dayus. It was their discussion of plans regarding the legacy inheritance and stuff.
"How did you get this?" The Dean's face darkened. After all, the conversation took place in the privacy of his own room. There is no way, he could feel secure anymore."
"You don't expect to reveal that, do you? We all have our own ans. Anyway, since the cat is out of the bag, we are requesting you to bring out that kid nad Dayus. We would like it if he can answer all of our questions honestly."
Dean gritted his teeth and stayed in silence.
"Co on, you don't want to repeat whatever happened in our last Academy war, do you? I am sure this ti it will be worse, particularly to the Zeus Academy. With all the heat you are attracting, it wouldn't be a wise decision to resist all of us."

The eting went on with all of them spewing so veiled and so even open threats to Dean's face. They gave Dean so ti and told him to think over.
The Dean walked back to his office where Dayus was waiting.
He slumped into the chair and said.
"This cannot go on. I need to fix this, imdiately. I am going to leave the Academy realm now. I think it is better if you co with . Without my presence here, I cannot guarantee your safety."
Dayus was surprised.
"But don't we have the trials tomorrow?"
"Let them be. The first trials are against Sam anyway. For so reason, I have a feeling he will co out on top once again. So, there is no point for us being here."
Dayus didn't resist anymore. He is also sure that his situation is in a bit of jeopardy, so he decided to follow.
Sam and his friends are a bit surprised by this decision. Even Sam didn't expect this. After all, he has been the biggest pain in the ass for every dean, particularly the Dean of Zeus Academy.
So, he expected that they co full force against him for the trials, but it seems the legacy inheritance issue is much more dangerous to the dean that he thought.
He didn't worry too much though. He had hundreds of cases on his head, but he is sure he can move past them. Sam turned to his team and spoke.
"We broke the news to the world and attracted them all. As expected the possibility of gaining more inheritances definitely restrained them from extre asures. But that won't stop them from seriously pursuing the Flaming skulls.
Not just the Academies, every greedy student from freshman to the grade 4 will be after the flaming skulls.
And I believe this is the right ti for us to exhaust this chess piece called the flaming skulls.
We are not going to take anymore assignnts, except for the ones Dayus planted, that too if he wants to pursue that idea more.
As for the rest of the students, when soone places as assignnts, we will just ignore them and if any of them takes so drastic asures like stalking our possible locations, wreaking havoc in hopes of finding us out, we will just divert their attention to sothing else.
I am sure, all of you knows what that ans."
They all nodded.
"That's great. Now, go back to your academies. Once again, put pressure on the Deans, if they don't take a rigid stance against the Zeus Academy, tell them that you are quitting imdiately.
That is sothing they cannot afford right now.
They already have information regarding the legacy inheritances, so, they know that these are only available in pocket dinsions suitable for freshn. And you happened to be their star freshn. If you are not there and work independently to get those inheritances, your chances will go way too high.
They will not let you go. So, let's play around with that."
After discussing a few things, everyone went their own ways.
At the sa ti, the Dean exited the realm secretely with Dayus. They went to the sa mountain region that Pearl went to et Theron.
After travelling for a while, they reached the place the next day. They were at least faster than Pearl.
Theron was sitting under the sa waterfall as he did when Pearl visited.
"What are you doing here, brother? Did you miss your little brother after such a long ti?"
Theron asked the Dean.
Dean looked at him coldly.
"You know why I am here, Theron. Please don't play these word gas with ."
"If you are here for Pearl, then please don't bother. That girl used up all of my favor and squandered it. She has to repay ."
"I need to end the issue with her and the pseudo-hell back at the Academy realm. This will also help her stay safe. You know what will happen if the Judiciary proceedings against her take a turn for the worse.
If she is punished by the Academy realm seriously, even if you try to save her, the pursuit of the Enforcers will be endless. You will not have any peace. I am also sure that you do not want to sabotage your relationship with the gods at the mont."
"There is a IF before your theory, brother. IF the trial goes for the worse and even if those kids out there manage to get her maximum punishnt, it is still up for debate, whether the enforcers can keep up the pursuit."
"Don't do this Theron. She will be in constant danger. The more she resists, the severe the punishnt gets. And I don't trust you to be her protector for the rest of her life. Once she is out of your sight, she will be dead."
"Are you really so concerned for her? A part of is telling that this is all bogus and you just want to cover your ass.
You of all people should know where my reluctance stems from."

"You are afraid that the Academy elders will user her as scapegoat and let her die to appease the other academies."
"You are right. She can die for all I care. But she cannot die before she repays . I will send her to you after the debt has been paid. You can just go ahead and use her as a scapegoat after that.

That is why, I am here to repay the debt in her stead."
Theron finally opened his eyes as he looked at his brother. He was curious as how his brother was planning to do that.
"Two Elders from the Academy were caught. They were helping out a Titan's Divine Incarnation and conducted a massive ritual. They are currently in my custody. I will handover them to you. They are key players within the organization supporting that divine incarnation.
I am sure, you can make use of it."
Theron was amazed.
"According to the rules, do they not have to attend the trial?"
"I can handle that. A few judges owe a favor. I will cash all of them in. I will play out a fake execution in front of the Academy realm. I will hand them over to you. Neither nor the Zeus Academy will interfere in this matter.
Whatever you find from them, is exclusively yours to take.
I am sure you can strike so deal with the Olympians regarding this."
Theron went into a deep thought.
"Alright, that is fine by . You can take her on your way back. Is there anything else?"
"I heard you interfered in the Pseudo-hell and I ca to know that Sam…."
"Oh, that arrogant bastard? Don't worry, I am not going to pursue it for now. At least not imdiately. You can relax for now."
"Thank you."
"Anyway, who is this creature that you brought along?"
Theron asked as he looked at Dayus. Dean thought for a mont and said.
"He is a new special student of the academy. Recomnded by Zeus. He is attracting a lot of attention lately, so I kept him by my side to save him."
