Back in the Academy realm. Sam is having a eting with Stone.
Stone has been pretty busy training himself. The challenges were still going on, but he has reduced the frequency. One of them is because it has been hard to find the students roaming in the streets of the academy realm.
The second one is that right now, only the elite few are left. Stone is good right now, but based on Sam's evaluation, to get the overwhelming victory like he always did, he needs to train more and hone his technique.
"So, how is the training going? From what I can see, you are eting the training targets, consistently."
Sam said with a smile.
Stone smiled and replied.
"With your grace, it is going well sir. I can feel my strength improving day by day."
"That's good. I think you might want to speed up a bit. Soon, you have to challenge two people. White and Dayus. I don't want to be pessimistic but, I doubt that victory will be easy against them with your skillset.
It is possible if you have more ti though, but we don't have too much ti.
So, your next target should be, fighting to draw with any of them. You can use my friends as sparring partners. That will increase your chances by a large margin. After you are done with that, it will be your ti to fulfill your wish."
Stone widened his eyes and started tearing up. He bowed deeply before leaving to train.
Sam smiled at his receding back. Soon, a screen appeared in front of him.
It is a corner in the Sanatan region. Within the Viswakarma academy.
A young man with long hair tied into a bun on the top with a lot of hair let loose. He is holding a pen like tool as he tried to bypass the hundreds of layers of formations inscribed on the bird puppet.
Sam looked at him with a smile.
"You are already half way there my friend. Go faster. I really want you to do this by yourself without my help. And the faster you finish it, the faster the dynamic of the academy realm changes."
Sam is really looking forward to the day this genius unlocks the bird puppet.
While things are like that, Christos had to go back to the Vlachous family estate.
He was called in by head of the family. And it is due to the mishap of the Shadow Cavalry.
After a couple of hours of waiting in the empty hall of the family court, Christos knew that he is in deep trouble. Making them wait is one of the most obvious, and petty tactic of showing their displeasure. Vlachous family has been doing this kind of petty practice for quite a long ti.
Christos just stood there in the middle, standing straight as he looked at the empty seat of the family head. He didn't even look at the other empty seats on the either side of the room. He was like a statue.
Only when finally the door of the room was opened and he heard so footsteps did he relax a bit.
Still, there is a lot more tension to go away from his body and at the mont it is impossible to do so.
The family head walked past Christos and took his seat. All the while, not even taking a single glance at Christos. It is a man with platinum blonde hair. The current head of the Vlachous family making him one of the strongest creatures in the Peak of Divine Plane.
The man known as Archigos Vlachous.
After five minutes, Archigos finally acknowledged Christos' presence.
"How are you, my dear Chrsitos? Is academy life treating you well? I heard that you are being talked about a lot as the current leader of the student's noble league."
The statent sounded like one of concern and complint. But it is far from that. The only reason christos is being talked about so much is because the suggestion he made to the league, which is to join the Hub has backfired in a bombastic way.
Everyone is cursing him and his ancestors whenever they are paying the coins.
"I am doing alright, sir."
"Good to know. So, how did the task that you assigned to the Shadow Cavalry go?"
Christos gulped, but he didn't dare stay mute.
"It… It.. didn't go well, sir. They failed."
"Really? Are you sure? They exterminated the Thalassa family. Not a single descendant could be found. Even their main planet has been taken over by a norse family. Considering this, I would say it is a great success."

"Speak properly, my child" Archigos' voice turned a tad bit colder.
"I didn't order the extermination of the Thalassa family, sir."
Archigos still had that smile on his face.
"Then how co they are exterminated by the Shadow cavalry?"
This ti Christos didn't have any answer. He wanted to say that he didn't know, but he had a feeling that it would be worse than not saying anything at all.
"Answer ." Archigos said with the sa smile.

An invisible pressure pressed Christos to the floor.
"Answer , you pathetic bastard." Archigos said with the exact sa smile.
Christos couldn't even speak now, even if he wanted.
"You had the Vlachous family's influence. You are the head of the league. You had over fifteen elders from Zeus academy at your beck and call. Forty more in the other academies. Hundreds of subordinates.
You used the influence of the family to move ten families from the noble league to kill one student. You even used the secret force of the family, the shadow cavalry, but you lost the control over the cavalry and then one of the families is dead.
Why are you not investigating this matter at all?
Why is there no imdiate news from you?
Shouldn't you have contacted us the mont sothing like this happened?

The pressure lessened and then Christos finally ca to his senses.
"Sir, I don't know what happened. We do know that Hub has so connection to the disappearance of Thalassa family. And before the Thalassa family disappeared there is the appearance of so Yena in their territory.
Sam, the one who we targeted with the Thalassa family was the one who had connection with those Yena, but that is all.
I tried to get Bloody Chariot to take action, he said he will investigate, but that is it. I wasn't able to do anything apart from that.
I accept my incompetence. Please guide further."
Christos said everything in a single breath.
"No wonder, you are smarter than your peers in the family. You at least know how to accept what you lack.
But guidance is impossible. You should have asked that before you ssed up.
I need you to find out what happened. Investigate and find out how the shadow cavalry that was supposedly captured by the hub or whatever it is called, ended up in the Thalassa territory. Whoever did it, I need the details.
Use whatever ans you can. You can only use the ergency forces of the family that are under your direct order.
And once you use them up. Your contributions will be nullified. Unless you find the culprit yourself, of course."
