Christos ca back to the academy realm with a gloomy expression.
After the lecture and the threat from the family head, he went to et so elders in the family to collect so resources. He knew that he could only move the ergency resources that he was given. But he had to go and check what actually his ergency resources consists of.
Because he has been facing setback after setback, failure after failure, his rank obviously decreased among his peers. Many of his privileges would have been cut. And he even used so of his contributions to get so coins from the reserves of his family.
However, when he saw what he was actually assigned, he felt like puking blood.
Right now, his status is sa as an Astral Plane level cultivator within the family. He might have the strength, but the privileges and even the resources assigned by the family indicated that his status is that lowly.
Obviously, the other factions within the family took the chance and struck while the iron is still hot.
He just realized that not only were the league is in peril, even his individual status within the family is in peril.
He needs to find his footing back and for that to happen, he needs to find a way out of this.
He has to find a way to make Bloody Chariot believe that Sam and the Hub are related. He had to make sure that Bloody Chariot breaks Sam and in turn the hub so that these contracts could be nullified.
Once they are done, everything will be fine. The contracts and money are the things that held the whole academy realm hostage. Once they are cleared, everything will be back to normal after so ti.
However, thinking is one thing, executing is another.
If he had this decisive nature towards this thing two days ago, things would have gone smoothly. However, now that he lost a lot of power, he cannot do things as freely as before. But he has to do them.
He tried to gain his spirit back and went to et with so of his close aides.
"I want you guys to use all your channels to get the information regarding Sam's labors until now. I want all of you to do this individually, which ans, I need a separate report from each one of you.
The report should be as detailed as possible.
Even if Sam stopped to take a leak sowhere on the cliff of a forest, that needs to be added there. Don't ever consider any information as irrelevant."
He sent those aides out and went to et with noble league mbers from different academies, and these were individual etings. To all of them he had just one request.
"Can you find out why the labor was given and what the labor is exactly? Also, can you give the information on the clear status of the labor?"
These were the only questions he asked.
Since he believed that Sam is related to the Hub sohow, he wanted to cover all the bases. He will focus solely on Sam and will try to find that hidden link.
He then went to et one of the subordinates of Dayus. This guy is one of the mbers that has yet to gain any real benefit from Dayus. He is at the mont on the fence.
So, Christos used him to get so more information.
This ti, the information is regarding the flaming skulls. However it is not that deep, he just wanted the investigation results of the incidents that involved flaming skulls and Sam.
By that evening, Christos got all the information that he wanted.
Even though he lost the power that involved his family, the connections that he built by himself are working properly.
He looked through the information and realized so anomalies. Even though he felt that there are so far-fetched speculations, he still managed to relate the twists and turns that happened in the Academy realm to Sam's activity in the labors.
For example, the speed at which Sam finished the labor involving the Yena is very slow. He took his ti for days and didn't co back.
However, the last few labors were done in an instant.
Both of them are inconsistent.
However, the Yena incident is related to the start of the destruction of the Thalassa family. The disease that triggered the chaos in the Thalassa territory started approximately at that ti.
And at the sa ti, the things went on rather smoothly back here in the academy realm. Of course, smooth is not an appropriate word, but the pressure and tension indeed lessened a bit.
Then there is the incident with coin auction.
The gambler academy invited them for the ransom exchange negotiation after Sam ca and the next mont the announcent for the coin auction was made by the Hub.
Like that he drew so more speculations, but apart from these few, the rest are just bullshit. It was just his wild imagination filling in the gaps.
Throughout that night, Christos was either gathering information or analyzing the existing information. He didn't even think of taking a break.
The more he researched though, the more he beca curious about Sam's past. No matter how hard he tried, he was unable to get any information about Sam before he entered the Academy realm.
The place he ca from, the organization he was affiliated to, everything is just unclear.
While he is researching along those lines, there are two pieces of information that pricked his interest. One of them is Sam's encounter with White and another one is Sam's grudge with the Olympians.
From the very first day Sam was openly hostile towards the Olympian academies. He was so actively showing it off as if he is afraid that soone might not know that he is hostile towards them.
So, he needs to investigate from that front.
He contacted White imdiately. However, White is in a pocket dinsion and if he is not in there, he is inside the Hub training like crazy.
That is one thing about Hub that no one can deny. No matter how blackhearted the Hub's owner is, it definitely worked wonders on people and their skill.
Anyway, Christos put soone on the task of arranging a eting with White.
anwhile, he started eting all the instructors in the academy to ask so questions. This ti the question is about their hotowns.
Since he already knew which of the instructors are grood by the families and which of them are not, he easily got a hold of the news.
He tried to ask about all the Olympian territories that are near their native places.
Then he also tried to find the students who ca from lower realms that are far away from the influence of the Noble league. The list went on and on as hundreds of territories were nad by these people.
Christos really wanted to have that influence right now. It would have been a great help to mobilize hundreds of people to check the places in this list.
However, he couldn't move that many people in the league or family. So, he had to take another approach.
For the first ti in ages, he went to a place that he didn't want to go. The Astral Region of the academy realm.
The place where the academies for astral plane are established.
There are a bunch of smaller gods under the Olympus and there were quite a few news ones out there.
So, there are a lot of Astral Plane level academies there. Even if Christos is not a Vlachous mber, just his status as a mber of The student noble league will be enough to make them mountains in that area.
He did just that. He picked up a bunch of students from there and gave them missions. Overnight hundreds of students went to different realms and planets to establish contact as the envoys of the Academy realm.
All of that, just to gain so information from Sam.
The net cast was so wide, yet it was also very coarse, Christos is sure that a lot of benefit might not co from this, but he is desperate, he need to make sure that he can find that link that he is looking for and preserve his own position.
For the first ti, Christos completely ignored all of his league duties and every other responsibility of the Zeus academy. He is focused solely on Sam and he hoped he could make so process.
anwhile, there are two more young n who were busy handling things related to Sam.
One of them is Stone, who is training like his life depended on it. Every day, he is on the verge of death and he is being brought back to life.
The other is the young man from Sanatan. He has acquired dozens of tal puppets to the point that Sam's surveillance in Viswa Karma's academy is being affected.
