Around an hour later.

Sam arrived at the location he was looking for. A city that was completely reford and rebuilt with brand-new defense chanisms. Just the na of the city made him want to destroy it instantly.

'Zeus City'

The city created by Dayus and White in the past few days while Sam was busy conquering planets.

Several people are coming in and out of one and only gate the city has. The guards are of Peak stage Second grade. They are all rcenaries as well. Similar to the ones hired by the Poseidon team. They are stopped every person that is about to enter the city, collecting a fee and then redirecting them to various locations based on their purpose.

Sam is actually a bit impressed by this situation.

In the past few days, Dayus not only created this city, but he also convinced a lot of small local forces and sole cultivators to join him. Instead of taking down or manipulating a larger local force like most others are doing in other places, Dayus directly took down one of the tyrant forces that used to run this city and established the Zeus city.

Taking down the local villains helped him establish a reputation. A reputation that not even the local heroes currently possess.

Then he called for the local villages, cities and towns in the surroundings. He didn't ask them to join him directly. He made them express their problems and he promised to solve them. Only if he solves them, do they need to establish a partnership with him.

Sam casually walked to the entrance and paid the fee.

Sam went there and saw that there is a test going on. One of the thirty-six mbers of the Zeus academy team is in charge of it and he is personally overseeing the tests. The test is simple. They will fight a peak stage rcenary.

If they can fight on equal footing for fifteen minutes, then they are in. Of course, the rcenary will adjust their strength based on the candidate's cultivation level.

Sam thought for a mont and disguised himself. He wore a mask and changed his clothes, wearing a robe, before he entered the test. He didn't want to reveal himself to alert them prematurely.

He was soon checked by so people and was sent into the ring. The rcenary took out a spear and gestured Sam to make the first move.

Sam didn't launch himself to attack. He instead took out a formation disc and threw it on the ground. Both the rcenary and the Zeus academy mber who is overseeing the fight was surprised. They had a bad feeling as an intense spatial energy erupted from it.

As if a storm has erged from it, before they could react, a fiery aura spread out. A large humanoid fire elental ca out of thin air.

*BOOM*

It started its move with a massive fireball that turned the whole arena into an inferno. Sam alone stood in his spot and removed his mask. The Zeus academy team mber saw his face and froze on the spot. Fear gripped his heart.

Sam then took out the reaper sword and slashed the large wall.

'SAM WAS HERE'

The words carved into the solid wall emitted the aura that appeared so arrogant and unbridled, the people who saw it wanted to break it down imdiately, but the next mont that feeling changed into that of fear.

As if that unbridled nature will not leave them if they tried to do that.

With a snap of his fingers, Sam disappeared from that spot. Escaping.

The Zeus academy team mber launched himself to stop the attacks for the fire elental. The battle was intense. The fire elental couldn't be stopped with normal attacks. Most physical attacks are not doing much.

It is just recovering instantly.

And they are not able to reach the crystal that easily. The heat is way too intense.

anwhile, Sam who escaped from that place, reappeared at a different spot. This is the place where the test of smiths is taking place.

He threw the formation disc and left.

*BOOM*

The fire elental ca and it seed to have sensed the presence of intense fire elental energy in the surroundings. It just exploded it all, flattening the whole place.

He then moved to the dical area, formation area and inscription area. He even went to the place where the current city guards are located.

Wherever he threw the formation disc, the space tore open, threw out the peak stage elental and the space nded back, the formation disc disappeared.

Apart from the destruction created by the fire elental, there is only one more thing that was left behind. The three words.

The three words irked them more than all the destruction.

"We need to send out the scouting parties. We need to find out where that bastard went and

kill him. A lot of my people are dead."

The rcenary leader was beyond angry.

But Dayus shook his head.

"There is no use."

"What?"

Instead of Dayus, White replied.

"There is no use in doing that. If he wants to escape, we cannot hold him. If he wants to hide,

if we can find him. If we wants to destroy... I doubt we can stop him, at least not with our

current level of preparations."

White's words dumbfounded the rcenaries.

While the other academy mbers understood the fear and rage brought up by the re ntion of Sam. No one understands it more than Dayus. He had to face the wrath of Sam more than once and every ti he could only take in the bitter pill of defeat.

"I thought he would be busy with the conquests. But apparently, his spite for us is much higher than his desire for more planets and realms."
