At midnight.
Dayus and White are waiting at the entrance, standing with all their forces accompanying them.
*SWOOSH*
Sam appeared on harbinger like a streak and landed on the ground. He looked at Dayus and White with a smirk.
"What a crowd. I love an audience."
Dayus and White stepped forward. Both of them had hostility almost dripping from their eyes.
"What do you want Sam? This is rookie league. I know you play in higher levels. Why are you bothering us here?" Dayus directly asked.
"Co on. Your academy can send guys after and disrupt my plans. But I can't do the sa? A little unfair, don't you think?"
"Just tell what this truce you were talking about. What is it about the Ga of Cards."
"Yeah. The Ga of Cards.
Let set it up."
With a wave of his hand, Sam made a table appear and with a snap of his fingers, two chairs appeared on either side of the table, along with a set of cards in his hands. He sat down and said.
"One of you guys, whoever has the power to make decisions, step up and sit down there. Be aware that this will decide the future of your expansion in this planet."
Dayus and White exchanged a glance. After so thinking, Dayus took the seat.
"So, from what I saw, you have twenty-three areas under your control. My initial plan was to just destroy all twenty three places, but where is the fun in that.
So, I am going to give you guys a chance to defend yourself.
Based on this card ga, you will get a chance to pick what kind of attacks will co that area, how long I can attack, and when I will attack that area.
No matter what the result is, I will attack that area only for that particular duration with those particular attacks. You can defend however much you can with your abilities.
Of course, attacking all twenty-three places is a waste of my ti. So, I will pick ten targets. Or rather, you will pick them yourselves."
With that, Sam laid out the cards on the table. All of them are facedown.
One set are black colored cards. They are twenty-three in number, exactly. It goes without saying that they are the location cards.
Then ca the second set of cards. The red set. There are only ten in this set.
They are the attack cards.
The third one is the green set of cards. They are the ti and duration cards. They are also, only ten.
Sam explained what cards are which and said.
"Now start with the location cards."
Dayus looked at Sam coldly and said.
"Do I look like a fucking idiot to you?"
"Look like? No. But do I think you are an idiot. For that, the answer is yes."
"Do you think we will just comply with everyone of your monkey acts?" White said from the side.
Sam looked at him and said.
"I am sorry. I thought Dayus was making the decision."
"I am asking a question. You..."
"The one who makes the decision. Gets to ask the question. You can take his seat if you want to ask any questions. No matter how rhetorical they appear to be.
Now, pick the location card.
If you don't do it in the next three seconds, then it will be open season for . I fucking swear it. I just love the thought of that."
Dayus grudgingly picked up the location card and to his dismay, the first card is one of their frontline areas. The force that is stationed there is focusing on the expansion.
"Now pick the red card. We will see how I am going to attack that."
Dayus picked it without saying anything. It showed lightning.
"The irony. Next ti and location."
Dayus picked the next card.
"The sun rise. Half an hour. It will be good. On to the next one please."
Just like that, Sam poked fun of him at every mont, until Dayus finished all ten cards. The only lucky thing is that their main base is not among the ten selections. IT was all done in just a few minutes.
Sam got up and said.
"You rember the ti and duration of each place. Be prepared or Be damned. Your choice." Sam took off on the harbinger. Since he placed the ti constraints on to himself, he needs to make so preparations.
anwhile, Dayus and White walked back in and went to a separate room.
"You do know what happened out there, don't you? Sam singlehandedly announced to the world that we are his bitches. He is treating us like his personal bitches, that he could screw any ti he wants." White said in a low tone.
Even in that rage, he is not willing to dare to speak those words out loud.
It was that humiliating to him.
"I know. This is not the first ti I felt this and this will not be the last ti. But this ti,
this is necessary."
"What do you an necessary? We..."
"We can fight back. True. But White, you should understand one critical thing. The Conquest of the worlds... this is bigger than our grudge with Sam. This is the way we can turn our tide against him. Unlucky for us, the Zeus academy is way too restrictive if we want to use its
resources.
So, for this to go smoothly, we need to ensure that Sam is off our backs."
"And he will just leave us alone after destroying those ten cities?"
"Yes. At least on this planet, we won't be having any trouble from him. Sam is many things,
and among he is a man of his word.
And in these worlds, he doesn't have the restrictions that he usually has in the academy realm
or other external realms.

"The whole of the second grade that is currently involved in the conquest, is currently dancing to Sam's tune. They are progressing because he is letting them. They are prospering because he is letting them. They are surviving because they are letting them.
Trust , it takes a lot of pride to admit that he is better than .
