On the seventh day.
The final showdown between the two Olympian teams and the gambler academy was planned. Or rather, it was decided by Sam that it would be so.
He narrowed down their location and used the one way space gates to send the undead and the gambler academy team to surround their place. With his design, the gambler academy even used a formation.
A formation that amplifies the curses, which is just an overly powerful buff for the undead creatures that are running on curses.
Every punch they threw was laced with flas and every last spark of those flas was laced with curses.
The elites of the Olympians, the Athena academy mbers in particular, managed to avoid the obvious attacks from the undead, however they weren't prepared for whatever ca next.
One of the Athena students, stabbed the undead in its hand with a sword, then he bent the arm back, while still keeping the sword in and continued the stab into the back of the undead.
An almost impossible and illogical move made possible with his excessive skill.
Another sword appeared in his hands as he was about to slice its head off.
At that mont… the fiery energy spread all over the undead creature was charged to its center. It bubbled up like molten tal, like lava in an active volcano, all happening in an instant… it exploded.
*BOOM*
The flas spread out of the explosion, the fire elental energy, the curses it was imbued with, the death energy, everything invaded the body of the athena student and a bunch of other students around them.
Four students imdiately fell on the ground, screaming in agony as they rolled around, hoping to get rid of the burning sensation they were feeling all over.
But it was all for the naught.
Even without knowing, their lives and vitality that supported those lives, were losing their bodies, fast.
And within minutes, they turned into the sa undead they were fighting just a few monts ago. And these undead were a bit more dangerous compared to the rest. At least, in that short mont.
They brought uncertainty and unpredictability to the battle. They imbued chaos into that already heated exchange. They obviously didn't go after the other undead creatures and the gambler academy students who knew about what could happen, already made their preparations to mask their vitality.
So, the obvious targets beca the opponents.
There was one more thing that made them dangerous.
As these undead fought violently, their bodies turned unstable. The fire elental energy and death energy were running rampant clashing against each other.
Because of the lack of diation, both energies conflicted and created an unstable mixture in the body.
As they were fighting, this instability only increased. Soon…
*BOOM*
They exploded as well. Right in the middle of the opponents, these undead creatures created a chain reaction.
Quinzz who already ran away before, got used to the feeling of sha and dishonor that cos with it. So, it was easier for him to do the sa again…
Only this ti, neither his transference token, nor his life saving asures have worked. He wasn't able to out run the gambler academy students, including Haziel who blocked his path.
He wasn't able to bypass the spatial restrictions created by the formation.
He wasn't able to escape no matter how much he tried and how he fought. Haziel kept his twin swords at bay and brought him back to the middle of the formation, where the energies of curse and fire ran rampant.
Quinzz looked at his once companions who turned undead and one of them was soone he didn't expect.
Mae.
Even with all her contraptions and puppets, she ended up becoming a undead.
Quinzz swung his swords and cut through her arms, just short of cutting her head off, when she leaped forward and bit into his neck.
*BOOM*
Quinzz felt the full shock of the explosion and the fiery energy invaded his body as well. He only felt the faint burning sensation before he lost his life for good.
Haziel and the team looked at the chaos and destruction they aided in the creation of and felt a bit conflicted. Hundreds of people died and out of them apart from the fifty controlled undead, the rest of them were all almost done for.
They either exploded or broken to pieces.
Either way, they are no good.
Haziel followed Sam's instructions and carefully captured the undead creatures to bring them back.
After that, they did one thing that they were not sure of. They found one of the opponents' n who was still alive and gave him a note. A letter of sorts to deliver back to the elders of the athena and Hephaestus academy.
The man didn't even hesitate for a mont. He almost kissed Haziel's feet for giving him that opportunity and went back to report.
And those letters caused a spur in the academy realm.
The Athena academy in particular took it a bit hard, because it was kind of first ti for them.
"To the elders and students of the Athena academy.
Whatever the ambitions that you harbored for the occupation and the resources of the Phoenix planet are in vain.
The gambler academy is now claiming the full ownership of the planet. If anyone other than the people approved by the gambler academy team dares to step one foot on the planet, they shall et their demise just like how your beloved student Quinzz and the rest of his followers and forces did.
However, this ti, we will not stop at killing the vermin that didn't know its place.
We will consider that you are in need of another ssage and deliver it loud and clear, in a way that even the barbarous beasts can comprehend.
Tread carefully before you make a move.

The letter for the Hephaestus academy was similar. But there was an additional line added.
"You were already shown your place in the second grade by our junior. So, we still wonder where you obtained the confidence to co knocking on our territory.
We just hope that the death of Mae has reinforced the thoughts instilled by our junior. Hoping you would mind your own business from now on."
