The letters did their job impeccably.
Both the academies were pissed. That very mont, orders were given to all the third grade mbers. The elders asked the team mbers to send any mbers that they could spare. All the backup teams from various realms were summoned.
And they were all given only one order.
To get to the Phoenix planet and kill the gambler academy students.
Of course, it took so ti to do all of this and the Gambler academy did indeed have so free ti on their hands.
Sam took this chance to explore the place. He was very interested in this planet from the start and he had so assumptions about how it would be.
And he is right on many counts.
The planet was indeed full of graveyards for many phoenixes. The only problem is that, it wasn't in service for a long ti. Centuries even, so all the elents of a phoenix body, the blood, flesh, feathers… everything except for the bones were all joined into the environnt.
There were several mines of different ores that were conjured with the blood essence of the phoenix. Excellent fire elental conductivity. Impeccable durability and versatility and there is one particular ore, which Sam dubbed as Phoenix blood iron.
It had the regeneration ability just like the Blood iron, but it is far ahead.
Almost all the tals are on part with the teorite sand that could grow. And the base strength of these tals is at a third grade level. Sam doubted he would be able to manufacture stuff with this that easily.
Just using normal third grade and fourth grade tals with the help of others and building the hub had cost him a lot of ti, effort and energy, processing these tals would take much more.
And he was glad about it.
Apart from the tals, one thing that impressed Sam more are the skeletons.
The skeletons of the phoenixes. And he did find them. They weren't out in the open sprawled for everyone to see, but they were under the surface. Skeletons of various sizes based on the level of phoenix when it reached its end.
The bones of the phoenix are incredibly strong. They can be used to make many things. They are excellent raw materials. Sam unearthed many skeletons and stored them away. More than a dozen of them.
Even though he found so with pretty high level, soone on the sa level as the Thunder Phoenix skeleton he had in his possession from way back when, none of them were on par with the Variant Hydra skeleton he had.

Anyway, even those dozen skeletons were quite a haul. Haziel and the team were surprisingly enthusiastic in giving away those skeletons. They didn't even count it as part of his usual share.
Sam also didn't refuse.
While he was in his glee of gathering these resources, the gambler team was busy making preparations. They knew things will not be pleasant. The letters are bound to cause extre ruckus. So, they gave it their all based on Sam's plans to set up all the traps.
They didn't understand even half of them. But Sam assured them they would work and they were content with it.
Soon, that day passed and the next day, the opponent forces started gathering their forces and sent them to the planet. There were dozens of academy students and hundreds of external forces.
Both academies even placed bounties on the heads of the gambler team inside the planet.
That was only the effect inside this planet. Sothing else is happening outside as well. But the team was in no position to care about that.
Instead they targeted the incoming opponents.
The first type of targeting, the initial wave of attacks the gambler academy delivered, was instant reaction.
Or rather sucker punching.
Sam's bird puppet network and communication system along with the markers that allowed for instant transfer, this mode of attack was made possible.
It was simple.
The portal leading into this planet sends people to random locations. So, even they won't know imdiately, where they are.
But Sam would.
The network notifies him and the other teammates.
They will use markers to reach the nearest place at the fastest speed. They were all provided with all the possible ambush points, resources needed to execute the ambush and even the detailed plan on how to ambush them based on the location.
The cherry on the top was the detailed information of every third grade student of the two academies.
For example…
Haziel was moving with her partner in the realm.
All of a sudden, a notification ca to her communication device. She imdiately used the transference device to identify the relative location of the target and went to the closest marker along with her partner.
From then on, the communication device showed the direction and the location of the target. Based on that, they can easily locate the pre-determined nearest ambush point, which, in this case is… the Searing mountain.
A normal mountain that is on flas. Ho to a very unique Fire bird species with a phoenix bloodline strand.
Haziel and the partner went to that mountain and activated the trap set up by Sam when the target was within the zone.
*BOOM*
With a massive explosion, the flas all over the mountain spread out and created a fiery domain with the mountain as the center.
Then the fire gathered with the highest concentration at the target's location. The firebirds raged imdiately. The eternal fla that constantly burns the mountain was not just a burning fla, it was also the food for these creatures.
The fire birds bring their prey and deposit them into the flas. The flas carrying all the spiritual energy and divine energy from the prey, will be absorbed by the fire bird.
A very unique form of nutritional intake.
So, when the fire spread out, the fire birds were angry. Mostly because their new kids who cannot sustain by themselves, now didn't have their source of food.
They obviously went to the spoit where the fla is of the highest concentration.
