As he sat in the car, Ethan was still fuming, "Look at that ungrateful son of ours, what on earth has he done now!"
"He hasn’t been by your side for so many years, so it’s natural for him to have so rebellious feelings. Whatever the issue is, talk to him nicely, and over ti he will surely understand that you’re doing it for his own good," Charlotte gently suggested.
"Talk my foot!" Ethan cursed harshly, "Why did Jas turn out so well and give no trouble? He handles his career, his career is well-organized, and his love life, his love life partner is competent and sensible too."
"That brat is just full of nonsense." Ethan huffed angrily, "Let him do whatever he wants, I don’t care about him!"
"Alright, alright, don’t be mad," Charlotte kept soothing Ethan.
Driving in front, Jas had a constant smile on his lips. As he expected, for the sake of Sophie, Charles was indeed willing to turn against his family.
Look at that old man, isn’t he furious too?
In ti, he would see if that old man would still favor Charles.
Once he marries Ophelia and gains the support of the Wilson Clan, then secures the Peace Group project for the Seymour Corporation, bringing greater benefits, and collaborating with other shareholders... he refused to believe that the Seymour Family wouldn’t ultimately fall into his hands.
Thinking of the promising future, Jas felt so elated and carefree that he seed to float, not a hint of gloom to be seen.
If not for having to act in front of Ethan, he would have humd a tune.
anwhile, the infuriated Old Mr. Seymour picked up the phone, calling his unfilial grandson, "Brat, you ca back and left without having a al with , do you still consider your grandfather?"
"Disgusting." Charles simply retorted with two words, making Old Mr. Seymour chuckle out of anger, "You brat, they disgust people so much, but your grandfather disgusts you too?"
Charles remained unmoved, "Next ti, then."
"Is it because they disgusted your girlfriend?" Having lived so long and seen so much, Old Mr. Seymour instantly saw through why Charles turned and left.
"Grandpa has always been so wise," Charles’ flattering earned him a laughing rebuke from Old Mr. Seymour, "You brat, okay, find a ti to bring the girl ho for a al."
"My girlfriend," Charles intentionally emphasized.
"Sure, sure, your girlfriend," Old Mr. Seymour laughed, going along with it, "Bring your girlfriend ho for dinner in a few days, got it?"
"Okay." After getting Charles’ reply, Old Mr. Seymour hung up the phone, laughing and cursing, "That brat, he really is serious about this."
"Why are you laughing so loud? Almost woke up the baby," Old Mrs. Seymour ca downstairs, with Old Mr. Seymour quickly stepping up to support her.
"Ethan brought that mother and son back," Old Mr. Seymour helped Old Mrs. Seymour down the steps and let her sit on the sofa before he spoke.
"Why did you let them in?" Old Mrs. Seymour, upon hearing this, got angry, glaring at Old Mr. Seymour with a stern face, "I warned you, you mustn’t be soft-hearted and let them in. Charles was bullied so badly by them; if you let them in, how would Charles feel?"
"I know," Old Mr. Seymour hastily replied, "They said Charles had a bad girlfriend, so I wanted to know what exactly happened before letting them in to talk."
