"President Palr, you wanted to see ?" Sophie Wilson entered Edward Palr’s office and asked calmly.
"You’re here, please sit, sit." To Eva’s disappointnt, Edward Palr had nothing but a good attitude as soon as he saw Sophie Wilson.
Sophie Wilson sat down with a smile, and Edward Palr then said, "What’s wrong? Has Eva been acting unreasonably and causing trouble lately?"
"Just a little friction; I can handle it myself." Sophie Wilson said with a smile. If there’s a grudge, I’ll settle it myself; that’s more satisfying.
"Alright then." Edward Palr smiled and said, "Eva can be a bit of a handful. If she says or does anything wrong, just tell . If it doesn’t work, I’ll have her leave."
"Okay." Sophie Wilson responded with a smile.
Once he confird that Sophie Wilson wasn’t being bullied by Eva, Edward Palr felt at ease. After showing concern for her twice, he finally let her go back to work.
As soon as Sophie Wilson left President Palr’s office, Eva’s smug gaze pinned onto her. "Sophie Wilson, why don’t you hurry up and pack your things?"
"Pack what things?" Sophie Wilson asked her, bewildered.
"You’ve been fired; why are you still lingering here?" Eva asked mockingly. "Do you plan to stay here?"
"Sophie Wilson, co with . I’ll get your resignation procedures done right away." Sister Carter was truly adept at flattering and fawning; her words followed promptly.
"Who said Sophie Wilson was fired?" Edward Palr opened the door and stepped out with a stern face.
Sophie Wilson is the daughter of the total company’s owner. As the general manager of a branch company, does he dare to fire the daughter of the big boss?
Their big boss only has two daughters. Eventually, all of the companies will belong to those two daughters. Does he dare to dismiss his future boss?
Is he out of his mind?
"Uncle?!" Eva looked at Edward Palr in disbelief. How could this be?
Why didn’t Uncle support her but instead spoke for that little wench Sophie Wilson?
"Sophie Wilson, go back to work," Edward Palr said to Sophie Wilson gently, then turned his head and glared at Eva, "You, co in with ."
Eva followed Edward Palr into the office unhappily and whined, "Uncle, what’s happening? Why hasn’t that Sophie Wilson been fired?"
"What has Sophie Wilson done wrong?" Edward Palr asked Eva with a furrowed brow. "You just ntioned a lot about Sophie Wilson’s shortcomings. Which one of them is related to work?"
"But Sophie Wilson will seduce my boyfriend at the company," Eva pouted and whined. "Uncle, do you just stand by and watch my boyfriend get taken?"
"Relax." Edward Palr waved his hand. "Lucas Payten pursued Sophie Wilson before, and she didn’t agree. She certainly won’t fight to take anyone now. Focus on work, work hard, and stop thinking about such nonsense."
"Uncle!" Eva couldn’t believe her uncle wasn’t siding with her but was favoring Sophie Wilson instead. She wanted to say more but was harshly interrupted by Edward Palr. "Enough, get out!"
Eva ca out with red-rimd eyes. As soon as she exited President Palr’s office, colleagues who were watching the drama imdiately turned their faces away, pretending to be busy with their work.
Even though no one was watching Eva, she felt her colleagues mocking her internally.
This was intolerable for Eva, who had a strong sense of self-respect.
Sophie Wilson, don’t be too proud!
Sooner or later, she’s going to make Sophie Wilson beg her in tears!
Eva shot an angry glare at Sophie Wilson’s office, turned on her heels, and strutted off confidently in her high heels.
