"Erie, didn’t you bring any dicine?" Benjamin Walton asked worriedly, "Why are you in the hospital?"
Hearing her husband ask this, Erie Wilson tears up in grievance, "Benjamin..."
"Yes, yes, I’m here, what’s going on? What happened?" Benjamin Walton asked with distress, moving to stand by the hospital bed, his waist embraced by Erie.
"I saw Sophie Wilson at the mall; she’s such a bully!" Leaning on her husband, Erie finally found support and began shakily speaking.
Clarissa’s face changed slightly upon arriving to see Erie, and Mason Wilson quietly squeezed her hand.
"What’s going on with Sophie?" Clarissa understood Mason’s intention and asked Erie in confusion.
"It’s all because of her. I just couldn’t stand her spending money recklessly, so I said a few words to her, and she cursed . I got angry and fell ill!" Erie said angrily, becoming more aggrieved the more she thought about it, "That girl is too much, so ungrateful!"
Clarissa wished she could tear Erie’s mouth apart.
This shaless scoundrel, back then swapped her child, and now she dares to speak of Sophie?
Who does Erie think she is, to criticize her daughter, especially when she’s just a kidnapper?
"What money she spends, is it any of your business?" Clarissa questioned sharply, "You’re just looking for trouble, aren’t you?"
"Sister-in-law, what are you saying?" Erie looked at Clarissa, shocked, as if she had seen sothing unbelievable, "I just see that she doesn’t work or earn money, yet she’s spending rashly, so why can’t I say anything?"
"What does she have to do with you, for you to go over and say sothing?" Clarissa asked amusedly, "What right do you have to comnt on her?"
"Sister-in-law, what do you an by that? You are my sister-in-law, what is Sophie Wilson to you, to make you defend her like this?" Erie, realizing, got anxious and questioned angrily.
"What does she an? Sophie Wilson is my lifesaver, what do you think she is? Without her, I would’ve been dead long ago." Clarissa refuted directly, "She has nothing to do with you, didn’t spend your money, so why do you think you can gossip about her?"
"You’re the one causing yourself unnecessary stress, brought here for ergency treatnt, making the whole family rush over; do you know that’s really annoying!" Clarissa’s blunt words dumbfounded Erie; she had always been doted on by her parents, and after getting married, pampered by Benjamin, she had never faced this kind of grievance before.
"Sister-in-law, what are you doing? How can you say that about ?" Erie suddenly burst into tears, "Brother, aren’t you going to control your wife? You’re just letting her say this about !"
"Brother, Erie’s health... You should persuade sister-in-law." Benjamin Walton looked helplessly at Mason Wilson, clearly having issues with Clarissa’s earlier words.
"Benjamin, we all know about Erie’s illness, so we’ve always indulged her since childhood, not letting her get emotionally agitated. But she’s the one looking for trouble herself, what are we supposed to do?" Mason’s words left Erie stunned.
Her brother didn’t stand by her side?
"Brother, what do you an? Are you bullying along with sister-in-law?" Erie was anxious, pushing Benjamin and saying, "I want to be discharged, I want to go ho, I’m going to find our parents to settle this!"
"Aunt, my parents don’t an anything bad, please calm down, be careful of your heart." Ophelia Wilson quickly advised.
