Now reading: Chapter 427: Not Alone from Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate, a Romance novel by Yue Yi Ming.

Mason Wilson paused in the middle of picking up food and said, "There’s no way the Seymour Corporation will collaborate with Peace."

"Why?" Clarissa Taylor was perplexed. How could Mason be so sure?

"Clearly, it seems like Jas Reed has a better chance. Otherwise, why would there be so much trouble stirred up?" Clarissa Taylor sneered.

Not only does Jas Reed have this confidence, but even my father-in-law also believes in it, doesn’t he?

For the sake of profit, all family ties are disregarded.

Mason Wilson slowly said, "Do you think Charles will collaborate with Jas Reed?"

"How is that possible?" Clarissa Taylor looked at him amusedly, "Charles has been bullied by Jas Reed and his mother, and he didn’t retaliate because he’s magnanimous, but collaborating with Jas Reed? That’s a joke."

"Exactly, so Jas Reed absolutely won’t get the collaboration with Peace," Mason Wilson concluded, leaving Clarissa Taylor bewildered, "What are you talking about?"

Mason Wilson casually placed a chopstick full of food into Clarissa Taylor’s bowl and said nonchalantly, "Oh, I forgot to tell you. The owner of Peace is Charles Seymour."

"What?" Clarissa Taylor’s chopsticks clattered onto the table.

Mason Wilson looked at his wife, who seed as if she’d been struck by lightning, feeling inexplicably more relaxed, the sense of not being the only one shocked was quite enjoyable.

Mason Wilson picked out so more of her favorite food and advised, "Calm down."

Clarissa Taylor’s lips trembled slightly, not knowing where to place her hands.

She was ntally collapsing; how was she supposed to stay calm?

After a while, Clarissa Taylor asked in a trembling voice, "Isn’t Charles Seymour a company?"

"In Charles Seymour’s view, that is his company," Mason Wilson had spent all day trying to understand Charles Seymour’s mindset.

Who would’ve thought, due to a recent collaboration, the Peace corporation causing open and covert strife among three families in Imperial City was rely a company in the eyes of their owner.

He didn’t know whether to say Charles Seymour was either broad-minded or had a realm far above ordinary people.

"Don’t worry," Mason Wilson comforted Clarissa Taylor, who still hadn’t recovered, "Jas Reed won’t be able to bully Charles Seymour."

Of course, it’s good enough if Charles doesn’t bully Jas Reed.

If Jas Reed is smart, he shouldn’t rush to cause trouble; otherwise...it’ll be lively.

Hearing this, Clarissa Taylor felt much more at ease.

Compared to knowing Charles Seymour’s wealth, she cared more about how Charles Seymour and Sophie Wilson would fare in the future.

As for the two people Clarissa Taylor worried about, they were currently engaged in an intense "battle."

"See, I told you it would look good!" Sophie Wilson happily admired the large bow on Charles Seymour’s head.

Being good-looking is advantageous; even with a bow, it only makes him look adorable, not odd.

Charles Seymour stared speechlessly at himself in the mirror, the style...

"I thought the tie you bought for was to be worn around my neck," Charles Seymour said helplessly to Sophie Wilson.

"It’s still tied on, isn’t it?" Sophie Wilson said, adjusting the bow to make it look better, "Look, the color suits you so well."

"Couldn’t it just serve as a tie?" Charles Seymour asked, puzzled.

"That’s different," Sophie Wilson rested her chin in her hand, smiling at him, "Only I get to see this version of you, exclusively for ."
