"Big brother." Jas Reed saw Charles Seymour, his eyes flickered quickly, then turned into the most mild-mannered younger brother and called out.
Charles Seymour, however, didn’t look at him, not even sparing a glance. He focused on Old Mrs. Wilson and said in a low voice, "Your daughter frad my Sophie. This matter, even if you want it concluded, it can’t be!"
"What do you an framing your Sophie? The one in the ergency room is my daughter!" Old Mrs. Wilson exploded upon hearing this and started to argue.
"This is a hospital, please don’t argue!" A nurse nearby ca over to urge them, "You’re disturbing other patients and their families."
"Uncle, shall we go?" Charles Seymour never wasted ti on argunts; why engage in pointless disputes when the matter could be resolved quickly?
Mason Wilson nodded without hesitation, "Let’s go."
"Mason!" Grandpa Wilson shouted sharply, stopping Mason in his tracks, threatening, "If you leave now, don’t co back to the Wilson Clan in the future!"
Mason Wilson’s lips twitched, full of bitterness, "Dad, you care about Erie because she’s your daughter. But can’t I care about my daughter too?"
After finishing his words, Mason Wilson turned to leave without saying another word.
"You beast! You’re a beast!" Grandpa Wilson cursed in anger, finally becoming so furious that he couldn’t help but cough violently.
"Grandpa, don’t be angry, don’t be angry." Ophelia Wilson hurriedly comforted Grandpa Wilson, "Dad is just being misled. We’ll try to talk to him after so ti."
The person Ophelia Wilson implied who misled Mason was obvious; it could only be Sophie Wilson.
"Make way." As the door to the ergency room opened, Erie Wilson was pushed out. Grandpa Wilson couldn’t care about anything else and rushed over to follow.
In the ward, Erie Wilson would still need so ti before she regained consciousness. Old Mrs. Wilson was inside accompanying her, while Ophelia Wilson sat in the corridor, sighing and weeping, "I never expected Sophie Wilson to be like this. If she’s dissatisfied, she can just return to the Wilson Clan."
"This has nothing to do with you," Jas Reed, sitting next to her, comforted.
"Who’s stopping her from coming back?" Grandpa Wilson said with a serious face, "It’s her own petty nature. Not only does she refuse to return, but she seeks revenge on Erie. Such a malicious person isn’t a daughter of our Wilson Clan!"
"Jas, Ophelia is the granddaughter recognized by our Wilson Clan. That Sophie Wilson is just a bastard. You should treat our Ophelia better in the future. Poor her with this awkward identity..." Grandpa Wilson sighed deeply, sighing again and again.
"Rest assured, Grandpa Wilson, I will treat Ophelia well. I married her not because she’s a Wilson, but because she is Ophelia," Jas Reed said with a smile, looking at Ophelia Wilson, his gaze almost intoxicating her with affection.
Ophelia Wilson’s heart beat excitedly. She always knew Jas wasn’t that kind of person. She told him about being switched at birth, yet Jas didn’t mind at all and continuously comforted her, thinking of her well-being.
How could soone like Jas marry her for her identity?
"Good, that’s good." Grandpa Wilson was relieved upon hearing this, nodding in satisfaction.
"But, my big brother..." Jas Reed frowned, speaking with concern, "His temperant is sotis a bit, well, stubborn. I’m afraid he won’t let this matter rest easily."
"What does he an won’t let it rest? Lying in the hospital is my daughter!" Grandpa Wilson exploded upon hearing this.
