"My family’s affairs are none of your business." Clarissa snorted coldly, thinking of how this person had wronged both her brother and daughter, anger bubbling up inside her.

"Clarissa, I’m just worried about your future, since we’re such good friends." Chaya was doing her best to disgust Clarissa.

"So you an to say I’m wasteful?" Sophie raised an eyebrow and asked.
"Glad you understand." Chaya put on a self-righteous tone.
"I’m wasteful, so what? I’m rich, I’m happy!" Sophie smiled at Chaya, boasting, "You could waste money too, no one’s stopping you."
"You, you..." Chaya was so choked by Sophie she couldn’t get a word out.
Did she really think that Chaya didn’t want to spend money like this?

"Alright, stop chatting now." Sophie cheerfully reminded Chaya, ’’If you’re going to buy sothing, hurry up and do it. If not, don’t waste people’s business here."
"Of course, I’m buying," Chaya said, her smile suddenly turning smug, "My dear Ophelia is about to get engaged to Jas. I must choose sothing good to wear at my daughter’s engagent."
Saying this, Chaya looked at Sophie and Clarissa with a sense of superiority, asking, "So Clarissa, is your daughter getting engaged too?"
"Of course!" Talking about her son-in-law, Clarissa looked at Chaya as if she was an idiot. Did Chaya truly know or not that the Jas Reed who gave her imnse superiority had been trying to ingratiate himself with her son-in-law, Charles, but hadn’t even t him yet.
"Oh, I know, I know, your son-in-law is from the Seymour Family," Chaya said excitedly, "That’s quite impressive. Congratulations, Clarissa, for finding such a good match. Ah!"
Suddenly, Chaya covered her mouth, as if she had just rembered sothing, and said, "I rember Ethan Seymour recently made a public statent severing ties with your future son-in-law, didn’t he?"
"Your husband severed ties with his father, just like your future son-in-law did. You really are fortunate."
Chaya was openly mocking Clarissa for losing the backing of the Wilson clan, and even her future son-in-law was soone who wasn’t favored by his real father.
"Actually, I think your daughter is quite cute, how could she be so underestimated?" Chaya regretfully glanced at Sophie.
