"Okay." Jas Reed smiled at Ethan Seymour, then softly advised, "Dad, we’re doing this for the company."
If Jas hadn’t ntioned it, it might have been better; bringing it up made Ethan’s expression even worse.
The opportunistic shareholders of the company all agreed to let that little brat go represent the company on the Peace Group project.
"All your hard work, and now he’s getting all the credit. It’s really... giving him too much!" Ethan grumbled, disgruntled.

Charles’s gaze fell on Ethan’s face without any emotion, bluntly giving him three words, "Because I want."

"Dad." Seeing Ethan’s reaction, Jas knew it was bad, and he quickly stepped forward to block him, advising, "Dad, my brother is just taking a few days off after his engagent, he might be going back to work soon."
Sophie Wilson sat on the sofa, watching Jas’s performance with a smile, but there wasn’t the slightest warmth in her expression.

His Jas was so much better, if his parents had always supported Jas, his achievents would surely be even greater now.
"See them out." Charles unceremoniously gave the order to leave.
If Ethan thought he could wreak havoc in his house, he was sadly mistaken.
Uncle Warren quickly walked over and said to Ethan and Jas, "Gentlen, please."

"Charles Seymour!" Ethan’s fierce gaze pierced from Uncle Warren to Charles, "Do you think you can do whatever you want just because your grandparents are biased towards you?"
Charles looked at Ethan expressionlessly and gave a single-word answer, "Yes."
Decisive and infuriating, without killing them outright.
Sophie sat nearby, holding back her laughter, her Mr. Seymour was just so frank.
Such a straightforward person, never beating around the bush, except when it ca to her, where he was a bit shy and hid his feelings; otherwise, his reactions to others were always this direct!
