Jim Perry’s foot slipped, and he barely avoided falling by grabbing the stair’s handrail.

"Mr. Perry?" Uncle Warren saw Jim Perry standing at the stairs without going up and assud there was a problem, so he hurried over to inquire.
"Is it appropriate for to go up now?" Jim Perry pointed upstairs and asked quietly, afraid that making any louder noise might interrupt his boss’s good ti.
Uncle Warren looked at Jim Perry strangely, not knowing why he said that, but simply nodded affirmatively, "Of course, there’s no problem. The gentleman instructed that when you arrive, to let you go straight up."
"Oh, that’s fine then, thank you." Upon hearing this, Jim Perry felt relieved; since it was the boss’s instruction, he didn’t worry.

Looking over, there on the television screen was a ga interface, with his boss and the missus each holding a controller, furiously gaming.
Phew... Jim Perry silently let out a long breath, so that’s what it was.
