"Alright then." Ophelia Wilson said with a smile.
Seeing Ophelia being so compliant, Jas Reed’s attitude softened. The two chatted for quite a while, and only after Jas made Ophelia blush did he finally hang up the phone.
Charlotte Reed, having listened to the entire exchange, questioned disapprovingly, "Are you really going to bring her over?"
"How is that possible?" Jas Reed sneered. "It’s not just us watching this New Year concert; so people might take action even faster than us."
"Who?" Charlotte asked curiously.
Jas Reed smirked coldly, "Old Mrs. Wilson—he can’t afford to lose face like that."

"What? You’re bringing them back? Are you crazy?" Old Mrs. Wilson stared in disbelief at Old Mrs. Wilson. "We finally managed to get rid of those two troublemakers, and now you want them back? Do you even want Mason to return?"
"Of course, I want Mason back, but Ophelia is too conniving. She made a spectacle of our Wilson Clan’s reunion in front of the national audience. If I allowed her to stay out, would I still be able to keep my reputation?" Old Mrs. Wilson asked angrily.
"What will people say then? That I ditched Ophelia to win favor with Charles Seymour? Back then, keeping Ophelia was all about boarding the ship of Peace Group." Old Mrs. Wilson’s voice was icy cold.
Even if that’s how he truly thought and acted, he couldn’t let outsiders know.
He still had to maintain the final semblance of dignity!
"Be wary of Ophelia in the future. That girl is too cunning!" Old Mrs. Wilson said sternly. "She actually retreated to advance, forcing us to bring her back... She’s no ordinary person."
"What about Mason?" Old Mrs. Wilson asked worriedly.
"He’s our son; could it still be troubleso?" Old Mrs. Wilson replied with a smile.
"Are we supposed to go and plead with him?" Old Mrs. Wilson asked incredulously, thinking it was too much to ask.
"Let Erie go." Old Mrs. Wilson suggested. "They are siblings, easier to talk to each other."
"How could Erie possibly go?" Old Mrs. Wilson shook her head. She wasn’t willing to go, let alone Erie.
"Just have Benjamin persuade her; Benjamin is always sensible." Old Mrs. Wilson managed everything efficiently and quickly.
Then she called Ophelia and asked her to move back.
Finally, Erie showed up at Peace Group, with Benjamin’s intervention, of course, there was no issue.
So, Erie appeared at the front desk of Peace Group, looking at the company with rage, almost about to explode.
Her brother could have helped Benjamin expand his business, helped his company develop, but he did nothing, which was utterly unreasonable!
"Hello, ma’am, is there anything I can help with?" The receptionist noticed Erie standing there, her face shifting between pale and livid, so she approached and asked.
If there was any issue, she would call security right away.
"I’m looking for Mason Wilson!" Erie snapped.
"Alright, ma’am, do you have an appointnt?" The receptionist asked politely, maintaining a courteous deanor.
"I’m his sister, Erie Wilson. Why would I need an appointnt?" Erie’s temper flared at the notion of needing an appointnt to see Mason.
What kind of suggestion was that?
"Well, in that case... I’ll give President Wilson a call, please hold on a mont." The receptionist smiled as she dialed Mason Wilson’s office. "President Wilson, hello, there’s a lady here at the front desk claiming to be your sister who wishes to see you. Alright, understood."
