"Lucy, let’s go." Sophie Wilson waved her hand in front of Lucy Wells’s face, "What are you thinking about?"
Why are you daydreaming?
"Nothing... just a bit tired from the business trip." Lucy Wells quickly said, then grabbed Sophie Wilson’s hand, turning away quickly to hide the slight blush on her cheeks.
Kai Bright’s smile is really too handso, huh.
After watching him for just a few days, she still hasn’t gotten used to his charm.

"Young Master Bright, don’t forget the day after tomorrow." The man from earlier at the airport, David Green, walked over to remind Kai Bright.
"I won’t forget." Kai Bright smiled and said, "Get the good wine ready, I’ll definitely be there."
"Bring your sister-in-law along." David Green winked playfully, then his gaze fell on Sophie Wilson, nodding slightly, his expression becoming more serious, "If Miss Wilson has ti, please do join us. It’s a little get-together with a few friends."
"Sure." Sophie Wilson replied with a smile, her agreeable manner taking David Green by surprise; Miss Wilson seed quite gentle.
This thought just flashed through David Green’s mind as he smiled and nodded at Sophie Wilson, "Then I won’t disturb you any further, I’ll head off first."
"Go on, hurry." Kai Bright waved his hand dismissively.
After making a mock punching gesture, David Green left with a big laugh.
Anyone could tell he had a good relationship with Kai Bright.
Once they were in the car, Kai Bright was surprised to see Sophie Wilson driving and asked, "My brother-in-law actually let you drive?"
"What’s wrong with driving?" Sophie Wilson asked curiously.
"He even lets you do such tiring work?" Kai Bright mumbled with curiosity, "Isn’t he supposed to treat you like a treasure, afraid you’d fall if held with care or lt if kept too close?"
"What? Jealous?" Sophie Wilson raised an eyebrow and snorted, "You can find a boyfriend to pamper you like that too."
Kai Bright: "..."
Losing in a verbal spar with his own sister, what a disgrace!
Lucy Wells covered her mouth, laughing secretly, her cheeks slightly reddened, which made Kai Bright feel a tickle in his heart. He teased directly, "Lucy, that’s not right. Your boyfriend is being bullied, and you don’t even say you’ll help?"
A wave of heat rushed to Lucy Wells’s cheeks, making her entire pretty face turn as red as a ripe apple, nearly dripping with blood.
"W-wasn’t it supposed to be pretend?" Lucy Wells stamred shyly.
"Even if it’s pretend, you need to make it convincing. You’ll have to accompany to a party in a few days," Kai Bright leaned closer to Lucy Wells, clasped his hands together, and smiled as he pleaded, "I’ll have to trouble you for a few more days."
"O-okay..." Lucy Wells instinctively moved back a little, putting so distance between her and Kai Bright.
Seeing Lucy Wells’s cheeks turning even redder, Kai Bright’s smile deepened, and he turned to Sophie Wilson with a grin, "It’s really thanks to Lucy this ti; otherwise, I would have been exposed."
Sophie Wilson chuckled inwardly, so, that’s how he "teases" Lucy?
"It’s just that Lucy has a good temper; if it were , I’d have blown your head off!" Sophie Wilson huffed, speaking with mock irritation.
"It was just a stopgap asure, I’ve already apologized to Lucy." Kai Bright murmured disappointedly, and before he could say more, Lucy Wells interjected, "Sophie, it’s fine. Kai has already apologized to , and besides, he had no other choice."
