Ophelia Wilson glanced at the ti and made a call. As soon as the call connected, there was a joyful smile in her voice, "Brother Fletcher, how’s the endorsent deal coming along?"
"I just finished contacting the person in charge on that side; they’ll have ti in a few days." Albert Fletcher said calmly, consistent with his steady style of handling matters.
"Ophelia, don’t worry. I promised to get you the best resources, and I won’t go back on my word." Albert Fletcher said slowly, "If it weren’t for you back then, my parents would have been long gone. If I can’t even arrange sothing for my lifesaver, what kind of person am I?"
"Brother Fletcher, what are you saying? I just happened to pass by at that ti. Even if it wasn’t , anyone else would have helped." Ophelia Wilson hurriedly replied, "Don’t keep this matter on your mind. Over the years, it’s thanks to you that I’ve been able to gain a footing in the entertainnt industry."
"Why are the two of us being so polite?"
"Alright." Albert Fletcher said in a calm tone, though his right hand squeezed a piece of paper with force, changing its shape.
"Brother Fletcher, I really need this endorsent." Ophelia Wilson sighed softly, a bit helpless, "You know my situation here too. My position in the Wilson Clan is awkward. I originally wanted to leave, but my grandparents insisted I stay."
"I understand, leaving now might make outsiders think my grandparents are snobs, but even if I stay with the Wilson Clan, I shouldn’t continue using their money." Ophelia said, hesitating a bit, shyly adding, "But, my mom... you know, we’ve been separated for so many years, I want to truly honor her, but she spends money a bit extravagantly."
"My savings can’t keep up with her spending pace. So, I want to take on more work." When Ophelia ntioned this, it seed like she was embarrassed to speak of it, as if she had gone through a difficult ntal struggle before she could say it.
"If I can get this endorsent, then my appearance fees for acting and other projects will increase as well, so this endorsent is really important to ." Ophelia bit her lip, saying awkwardly.
"Brother Fletcher, do you understand what I an?"
"I do." Albert Fletcher nodded and said, "But, don’t you think your mother spends a bit too much? Shouldn’t you advise her a little?"
"She’s my mom, what can I do?" Ophelia sighed softly, "I’m so busy working, I don’t have much ti to spend with her. If she loves spending money, let her spend. I’ll just work more."
"Your mother is draining you dry." Albert Fletcher lanted.
"Brother Fletcher, don’t put it like that... It’s the only thing I can do right now. I just want my mom to be a bit happier." Ophelia’s voice grew small, as if she were greatly wronged, she said.
"Well, I understand. I will work hard to secure this endorsent." Albert Fletcher’s promise brought endless gratitude from Ophelia, and after talking for a bit longer, she hung up the phone.
Albert Fletcher tossed the phone aside casually, carefully unfolding the paper he was close to tearing.
It had the image of a man printed on it, which he had shown to his parents.
